Can you recommend a Castlevania plug and play Emulator or Cart. I am not very computer savvy, and would simply like to play some of the DS and Gameboy games on my TV. Thanks You.
I actually have issues with multiple games - tried to copy the entire collection because some games were missing and on some games don't start with a message "game not supported" or something like that, any idea why?
@@cristimarama The cart supports all regions (PAL/US/JAP), and can play all games (ROMs), it can fit in any Super Nintendo, but the console itself needs to be region modded to play ROMs from other regions. So just stick to games from your region and they'll work (not including SuperFXchip games).
I found an SNES in the trash with a broken power port, took one off an old router and soldered that to the board, and now I'm just using a universal power adapter. Bought a couple of mint used Super Famicom controllers from Japan for like $30 total, bought one of these 800 in 1 carts, and I'm golden. Less than $60 and I can play (almost) any SNES or SFC game I want. Not bad.
dudes was rom dumping on the net back then, and you could get a flash card where you could reprogram the rom file to which game you want,or a floppy add on it was poss but you needed hardware and it was not as quick and simple as this lol
Whenever I buy anything that emulates and or plays retro games, it better have at least one SD card slot or I am disinterested. I like how you proved that the save state works as that is important. Cool video. Peace!
Been game console collecting off & on for many years, and after about 5 years of not collecting, scored a yellowed, cracked SNES console for 40$ and I'm gonna restore it & get a flash cart this time. It's amazing to see guys like the AVGN have access to literally any classic game in a library which takes up a whole room, yet that whole room can fit into one cartridge.
rom folders aint cool to look at though nor are worth anything and lastly...you dont appreciate them, when you own a cart you appreciate the game for what it is,i call it the netflix effect, when you have so much choice you spend more time looking at what to watch than actually playing anything lol
That was the main limitation back then. It forced developers to be creative with what they had, though. This, ironically, probably gave us more quality games than had memory been cheaper to add to cartridges.
Did you happen to check any other enhancement chip dependent games? Mario RPG, Kirby, Megaman X3(CX-4), Or any of the various DSP-series games (pilotwings, mario kart, and top gear 3000 come to mind first). Street Fighter Alpha 2 runs an S-DD1 chip, as well.
@@WoahBoomshakalaka Yeah, I actually ended up picking one of these up, and it pretty much came with every compatible game pre-loaded onto an SD already. I appreciate the clarification, though!

I just got myself one of these too and it didn't come with super Mario kart, top gear 3000, or super Mario world Yoshi's island. So I added them but none of them will load. Any work arounds?
I wish these supported SuperFX, SA-1 or any other expansion chips. It seems to have support for the DSP-1, but that's it. There's an Altera FPGA on board, I wonder if there is a firmware update or a hacked firmware that could allow utilizing it?
@@shoot_the_glass5654 That's something that could be done within the FPGA though, no? Or is it literally a matter of physical memory on the cartridge not being available?
This is a clone of the Super Everdrive V1. The same company also makes a clone of the Super Everdrive V2 which has faster loading and supports DSP-chip games. They also have a clone of the SD2SNES which is the best one but expensive; all roms load instantly and works with MSU-1 hacks, Super Game Boy 2 and firmware updates.
