I watched and couldn't understand theoatrix's plan. it seemed slow and too complex compared to what this guide has shown me. thank you for explaining clearly and why you chose these ideas. keep it up. btw, quest through slayer first is major key ;)
At 15 hunter you unlock ruby harvests requiring a butterfly net and jars to catch. They’re right next to copper long tail area in Piscatoris. With stamina’s you can go from 15-29 way faster then birds. Catch and release them.

Same for Theo, I love a lot of his vids and the editing on his videos with the overlays are top tier, but some of the information is a bit lacking.
@@kasoog the early level for both guides are so click intensive and inconvenient if you are new to hunter. So I love how he started off with the birds more afk and exp. Most people trying to do hunter for the first time dont want to catch ruby harvest butterfly's while setting up bird traps. I did that and it gave me PTSD lol
FYI for people doing Copper Longtails, bring butterfly jars and a net and catch the ruby harvests while you're waiting on the birds this speeds it up a ton, if you are efficient it's about 23-24k exp/hr

Ok but is it really a good idea to start orange salamanders at 47 because when I did it took soooo many attempts for just one exp drop but at swamp lizards it's a pretty much constant flow of exp at lvl 47 and especially with hunter pots, so thoughts? Am I missing something?
I just got to 80 hunter today on my 10hp pure ironman and i need 90 for raids 1 to be a skiller(also 90 cooking but later)do you suggest doing herbiboar, 3 ticking black chins or 3 ticking red chins? My issue is that my herblore is only 33 and i was thinking herbiboar would be good to do on the 10hp for herblore xp but i only have graceful, 72 agi, and almost no energy restore pots since the best i can do is regular energy restores and i do eventually need 55 for super strengths anyways.

@theedb0ys you should have said to bring a butterfly net and like 7-8 jars to the copper longtails and crimson swifts too to catch the butterflies. They make the shit early hunter grind so much faster.
level 9-20 hunter takes unbelievably long setting one trap and failing almost every time with the stupid copper longtails. Legit failed 12 traps in a row. Caught one and failed 21 in a row after that.... about to quit this skill and forget the quest cape.
There's only like 2 things you can hunt at lvl 1. Like crimson swifts, shown in the vid (all you have to do is place a bird trap) You could also do the varrock museum quiz to skip from 1-9 hunter

You can use humidifi on the lunar spellbook to refill the waterskins while in the desert catching orange salamanders.

Yeah I did them from 30ish and now I'm 59 so just started to use yew birdhouses.
No point in waiting until 70 hunter to do black salamanders. You'll still be constantly busy with the traps at 67

Falconry is 50% faster xp than orange salamanders. Considerably more clicky though, but worth it imo.

You don't actually need a hammer or chisel to place birdhouses just the birdhouse itself and seeds, great guide though
It's best to just make like 25 birdhouses at a time speeds the run up

It varies a lot. Depends on tank gear, time of day, if you have high total level worlds, and how good you are at getting away from pkers

Copper Longtails from 9-20 is the slowest shit I've ever witnessed. About an hour and 20 minutes almost since you can only use one trap lmao
