If you have 3-piece bmx cranks and do maintenance on them: keep the sprocket on the axle exactly where it was before. I learned this just recently but if you remove it and replace it arbitrarily, it will start to creak and develop play. It will anyways but keeping the sprocket in the same spot on the axle will help it last longer.
I found your channel recently and have been watching a lot. Love your content! Would you do a video suggesting some beginner bike recommendations? I have a pretty high end BMX and I want to get something decent quality but cheap enough to that if I don't like it? I won't be out a ton. And bikes in this area?! Thanks. I love your content
Hi! Love your videos! I have a question. I have constantine with a carbon fork, how much to torque the fork compression plug? Replaced mine due to the rust. But didnt find any info on manufacturer's website.
Hi I hope maybe someone sees and can help, I have bikes that are like 56cm and while I can ride them fine it feels like the bars are too lor for my comfort. I have an ebike single speed and it is a 58 and feels PERFECT, do I just need a bigger bike or is 56 good for tricks I am 6'2/6'1
Get straps or go clipless, also learn it on a lower ratio first. Skid stops without foot retention are nearly impossible at those ratios just because you can’t get the torque necessary
*+TIP FOR CHAIN* from my opinion... problably if you will start doing tricks you'll change your bike crown and maybe even your sprocket, so think about chain lenght when you change it...anyway try avoiding chains alternations cause it feels weird on your pedal feelings.... this like real picky fixed gear bikers
Want to hear something really stupid and crazy…i just realized after watching this I’ve NEVER set my foot straps with my feet actually on the pedal, i always just eyeballed and adjusted as needed. SMH lol
so you also watched the “how to get more videos on youtube” video and now fall in line with calling out “SMASH” that subscribe button.. eww, i’ll stop watching, write this comment and leave. make quality content, don’t beg viewers for “smash that subscribe button”. comes off as just simply annoying… we’ve all heard every youtuber ever say the exact same phrase like 400 times by now..

Tip for tricks: try running an easier gear ratio to help with wheelie and spin tricks
I ride 49/17
So what would be an easier gear ratio?
@@fairladyz9957 smaller than 49 in the front or bigger than 17 in the back
example: 44/17 or 49/19
@@fairladyz9957 anything that has either a smaller chainring size or bigger cog size
I ride 44/17 its easy to wheelie and fair skid patches
@@fairladyz9957 try use a bigger cog
fricken QUALITY vid 👍
those Leica lens spacers are an outstanding detail. is there any place that still produce them ?
MASH SF has got them!
phew, the flex on the front bike at 1:24
hey, i just got my first pair of toe straps is there any tricks or easy way to get the second foot in?
surprised not to see chainring centering/locating the tight spot to coincide with your usual track stand stance.
Woow it's so long since you uploaded. haha
Truuuu, glad to be back!
Get some FOAD pedal straps on the online store for me!
Any good wheel recommendations?
What size is your frame on your fixed? 54cm or 56cm?
useful thing for newbie
What is the brand of strap you used?
does a smaller frame make things easier?
What the pedals do you use on bike?
Hey , I have been watching foad since 2020 and I have a question . What is the best ratio for fixed gear freestyle?
What’s a good crank set for a fgfs?
Yes fixed up
What are those hex bolts called that fasten your axle to drop out?
Those are a "female" axle as opposed to a male axle which is more traditional for a fixed gear

Might have been asked before but what is the name of that Ritchey stem bar combination and can you recommend it?
Bullmoose bars. they're not currently being made but Nitto has some similar bars that look nice!
Hello,
Any cycle is standing possible??
Nice 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
You got any tips to skid on bikes with high ratios like 3.7, 3.8 without straps and clipless pedals? Im struggling so hard tryna learn it rn
Get straps or go clipless, also learn it on a lower ratio first. Skid stops without foot retention are nearly impossible at those ratios just because you can’t get the torque necessary
2nd this, straps are your friends!

FIXED FOR LYFE 💯🔥🤟
Always!
Is 35c-40c good for tricktrack/fgfs??
Absolutely!
^ Agreed!
I got a question. Is it safe to do tricks on fixie with carbon fork?
Yeah, as long as you know how to land softly on your back wheel, you should be good
Hello sir, im from Jakarta , Indonesia.
is a save for skid and anymore , if my gear ratio 48 - 14 cog ?
that’s fairly high for tricks and you don’t have too many skis patches. I also like going for bigger cogs and chainrings so they don’t wear as quick.
Agreed, that's a hefty gear ratio!
Quick question what's the meaning of foad I feel like buying some merch
It's the crew! No specific meaning
Thanks 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
