What a perfect escape that was. Just fantastic! It was torture watching every single model's ankles struggle in the flimsy shoes on the uneven surface, however.

The purpose of a runway show is to reveal the collection of a design house. For this to create an impression, an audience should be able to view the collection. Unfortunately, due to the production process - particularly the inadequate lighting - it is impossible to gain a visual impression, and that is to the detriment of the collection and design house. Let’s assume the collection was to Schiaparelli’s historic standard
I was able to see it fine, maybe you just need to have your eyes checked.
@@skypup77 I wonder what you accomplish by making such a comment? Do you gain some credibility or pride by doing so? And really, why go to the trouble of crudely abusing a stranger?
It was the intention of the creative director, Sir Daniel, to light the runway dimly to create to heighten the sensory of the live audience and create a dramatic and classic effect in his BoF interview. It was not that visible but hopefully the atelier will soon publish photos or videos of the collection in an ample lighting.

There were so many stunning pieces! The lighting and music gave an evening on Broadway vibe with tempo on point. Hair and makeup beautiful.
Would have been absolute perfection if some of the models didn’t give the impression of deformity. Was it the choice of shoes or the walk or both?
Some of this looks like it might be mind blowing...too bad you can't see it in the dark.
A more subdued Roseberry than we've seen in recent years but this collection was beautiful. The collection is very obviously inspired by nature and seems to delight in its carnality.
Roseberry's love of movement and flow is present in the most daring looks of this show, 6:08 in particular highlights his mastery of making clothes look alive.
I also just want to highlight the snail/slug dress at 18:22, I really didn't expect something so novel and lighthearted at the end of the show. Loved it.

I like the theme of the show. Choreographed well. I believe the house is all about the embellishments and not the actual design of the clothing. I saw some Van Herpin 3D references. Some pieces were just too out there and some were just right.

I honestly can't 😢where is the life ,wat is it with the music,why does everyone look miserable , imagine paying money to watch people who move in slow motion,who seem robots, honestly outfits are beautiful but the way they are being show cased is not it , someone bring back the Victoria secret shows ,shows where u would feel excitement filling in your body as u watched you would Invision yourself as the model because they were so magical, however wen I look at this I see mannequins who look like they are forced to be models, these are not super models 😢 and am 15 , wanting to be a model but this doesn't look exciting, wat do u think

Beautiful fashion, but isn’t it time that models were discouraged from walking as if they are deformed? Just look at the way the first model walks.
We are so sorry to say, but this show was absolutely TRAGIC! We wish it had been much darker so that we did not have to suffer through watching the models in their "costumes" struggling over the runway floor which appeared to be a high-low carpet of a mobile home. It was like watching 1980's runway from a low budget film. Everything was slow, dismal, and predictable. Again, so sorry. The house of Schiaparelli needs to keep an eye on making women feel and look beautiful, rather than shocking or boring the audience. We are very sad and disappointed. Better luck next year.
Calling a haute couture show of this magnitude tragic in a time where other houses are showing bathing suits and minidresses for couture week is crazy!! If we can’t appreciate the beauty in a collection like this I don’t think we will ever be satisfied with fashion. However, it was indeed way too dark.
@@iisaacce The problem is that there was no beauty in this collection... that is why it was tragic. We are overjoyed with well designed, crafted, and presented fashion ... however, this collection is sub standard. Sad, but true.
