      Lol unfortunately doesn't work. By the time you get drunk enough to vomit, your body has already processed a significant number of calories from alcohol. Unless you were to just straight up chug liquor sober and then vomit within 5 minutes, which is pointless.

    I like fasting up to a drinking night. Obviously easier to manage calories but also you get alot of bang for your buck. 1 drink feels like 2 on an empty stomach. plus any morsel of will power goes out the window, so by fasting you can afford some food calories, which will inevitably happen. With all that said, I personally try to only do this on special occasions. I love drinking but it doesn't support my goals well

      @@nh251 they're both pretty bad for you in excessive amounts. One will make you paranoid and turn your brain in to scrambled eggs and the other is a natural depressant and testosterone killer. I'm glad I quit them both in my early 20s

      @@nh251 Cannabis is great, but does an entirely different thing for me lol! Drinking makes me social and chatty and fun, while cannabis can make me pretty insecure at a party. I think weed is best with small groups of people where there’s less pressure

    When I started working out, my two main mistakes were lack of sleep, and not eating enough (not being in a caloric surplus). I always thought I have been eating enough and was disappointed because my weight stagnated for a long period of time... Then I got my first diet plan created (I think it was from a website called Dietarize). I realised that my previous food intake was way below my needs, although I thought I'm good. At the beginning it was hard to eat 3800 kcal in a day, but I got used to it. I started noticing real gains and it felt amazing. I wish I'd understood the importance of diet earlier.

      My family used to force me to drink alcohol, eat food I'm intolerant to (that's also unhealthy and high calorie) to a point I happily give anyone the middle finger. Gains are just another motivator.

      1.5 oz Cabo Wabo tequila

    I’ve always struggled with weight loss and it’s 80% because alcohol consumption. 4-5 times a week drinking 3-4 beers a night to take the edge of or enjoy while cooking was hard to give up. And I’m that IPA guy (sorry) and those beers are literally like 250 calories each. So ONE THOUSAND calories a night in beer. I’ve moved to jack Daniels and Coke Zero and only drinking like once or twice a week and started doing anabolic meal prep to take to work instead of eating out and I’m 20 pounds down in about a month and a half 💪🏻 255 to 235

    If you’re drinking at home, and you need simple syrup… make it your own with stevia (or any other zero calorie sweetener)
    1-1 ratio. Ex: boil 100g of water, put in 100g of stevia. Put in a glass container and let it cool for a little bit. Zero calorie simple syrup!

      @@sgdude1337 no one uses pure stevia. You can’t buy it in stores. All the stevia in stores is blended with other sweeteners like erythritol making it less sweet and sometimes 1:1 with sugar

      @@Drooh some is bulked with maltodextrin and has 4 calories per gram with a 1g serving size rounded down to 0 calories so you have to be carful what brand you buy when it’s bulked and check the ingredients. I actually do buy pure stevia at Trader Joe’s and microdose. I also buy erythritol straight up as it’s way cheaper than any other granulated sweetener and just use that in recipes that call for a 1:1 sub. I then just add a tiny bit of sucralose or stevia (both pure) to bring the sweetness 1:1 if needed. Cheaper this way and fool proof

    I just decrease my overall calories per week to be able to have a hard drinking night once a week. I am disciplined enough not to eat when drinking, so that's no problem. And I make sure the day after is a rest day and I already know what I will eat, so I won't binge on bad food. This works for me but won't work for everyone. As a student, drinking once a week is just a must 😂

      @@equinn6504 I track my caloriee using MyFitnessPal. I follow a diet where I have a protein intake of 0.8-1 gram per pound of bodyweight. Then I try to keep fat around 40-50 grams per day and the rest carbs. But you can fill fats and carbs in how you like as long as you stick to your calories. I almost always cook my food myself, so no takeout/orderjng food. But I do give myself a break sometimes when there is a special social event, a celebration or whatever and then I just don't go too crazy. I also try to minimize sugary treats as they don't fill up and just make you more hungry. Fruit is fine and great so I do eat that. My typical day will be a bowl of oatmeal in the morning with almond milk, banana, sometimes rasberry/blueberry, pb2 and some flavor drops. I'll also have 250 grams of greek yoghurt with 10 grams of no sugar added puffed wheat and some flavor drops. For lunch it will be either an egg white omelette with ham, onion, bell peppers and sometimes zucchini with no sugar ketchup or Sriracha, or a salad with veggies and chicken and low calorie saus. As a snack a protein bar or yoghurt. Then dinner can be whatever I want as long as it's pretty high in protein and I keep the calories 600-900, depending on what I at the rest of the day. And for dessert I'll either have a mug cake, lower calorie ice cream tub, popcorn or some other recipe I found online. For pasta and bread I always opt for whole grain versions. I implement a vegetables into my cooking a lot so the volume becomes big, but it has to taste nice, so no steamed bs etc. haha. So this is basically a IIFYM diet, maybe also anabolic as I have a lower fat intake. Hope this gives you a good idea, feel free to ask any questions!

    I naturally stop drinking after eating. So I only drink with meals. Keeps the quantity down.

    If you know you’re going to be drinking on a Saturday night a week beforehand and were eating 2k calories a day, if you ate 1.9k calories a day Monday-Friday, but still hit your protein goal would you be okay to get to 2.5k on Saturday since your weekly avg would still be 2k?

      Not sure what rem will say but will tennyson says this method is ok. He says it for his cheat days hell say have 200 less calories a day all week. So 1800 a a day then 3000 on Saturday for example. Or simply take daily calories multiply by 7 and that's your total for the week and use that. So many ways to do it just try and find what works for you.

    For me the biggest thing is to watch the sugar content. A lot of flavored spirits lime spiced rum and apple whiskey contain sugar, and it’s often a lot more than you’d think. Read the labels, often an alcohol content below 40% on spirits means there’s sugar added. A liqueur is by definition heavily sweetened, so I have to watch out for those as well

    TBH, I do value every opinion, but for me it is much more like this: If i drink, I`m an animal ... I eat whatever is in sight AND order anything. I did the math and found out that it is much more easy to maintain weight and much more a stable mindset if I don't drink at all. I know this might sound crazy, but I truely think that there is no benefit whatsoever in alcohol. True, it does take longer to get comfy in situations or relax, but for me personally, it is a game changer not doing drugs at all ^^

Drinking tonight and just had lunch I'm at 401cal and dinner won't be much more then 600 so with drinks that's 1400 plenty for error if I decide a third.     Im not sure if these things are a thing in the US, but here in sweden we have No calorie lemonade(?) concentrate, they are just mixed with water. Anyways put the concetrate in a blender with a bunch of ice and alchol of choice and you got a massive alcoholic slushie thats gonna fill you upp too.

      Absolutely. Alcohol metabolizes differently. I don’t calculate whiskey calories when I am only having one or two. It’s negligible and it’s different than food calories.

    For those who are interested, calories in alcohol are based on proof. Higher proof higher calories. I am an avid whiskey drinker. 80 proof whiskey has roughly 95 calories per 1.5 oz

    I dunno, I've had times in my life when I've been drinking pretty hard 3 times a week or so - like 4 or 5 pints of beer - and I've been in great shape, and times when I've been drinking once a week for months on end without losing weight. I swear alcohol is more complicated that calories in vs out. Like eating while pissed is the major no no

      Hes 30 yrs old and has drug history, has used steorids , and is currently sarms and TRT. Yet in his videos hes constantly promoting the anabolic diet, calorie deficit, etc which is fine and are things I implement in my routine. But the normal person aren't doing those extra booster supplements

    I certainly like to go with whiskey. Idk about the calorie intake but they are known to be the best for your body from a bacteria and fighting off infections standpoint. So I think that counts for something

    Rem, what do you think of at least bumping slightly over on drinking day? bc under earring (esp if ur already cutting) is sometimes dangerous, you get really drunk and then eat too much sometimes if u loose control, what about giving urself an extra 300-400 cals then normal and maybe have a lite day of eating the next day
