bob bombar Oh I am sure they will try and find something to justify her actions and thus her still being “right”. I can see it now “well if Berry didn’t trust Thrawn, why didn’t he flow through on his so called “hunch”?? Seems to me he really didn’t think Thrawn was bad and thus agreed with Iris. So don’t piss all over her when it’s his fault for not being true to his convictions.”
However he would have been true to his convictions if it wasn’t for Iris belly aching tell she got her way (per usual) and him apologizing yet again (for like the billionth time) just to shut her up. And that is all on the writers because they insist on trying to make Iris the untouchable Queen Bee and Barry a babbling baffoon of a superhero even though HE is the title guy.
As for Tharwn’s original plan of killing Barry, I thought he did tell someone but it wasn’t a West. Though I could be very wrong as that revival was so long ago.

My favorite part of the episode was how lost he got when Cait was taken. He has a giant mega fight with Iris but isn’t nearly as messed up as when he looses Caitlin. And yet I am supposed to believe that Iris is his anchor/ Lighting Rod..... Yeah never going to by that horse crap when he gets this emotional EVERY damn time something happens to Cait. Lol

It was because he felt more pressure and stress. Not only are they understaffed, he's fighting with Iris which is a big deal seeing how that fight went, but another one of their members is gone, Caitlin, and he's just feeling the stress. It's like when you have several things to do such as school perhaps or work or both along with things such as taking care of a pet or doing things around the house.
Caitlin will always be Barry's lightning rod. Always. And Barry is her anchor. They're just meant for each other. Their chemistry is so perfect the writers felt like they had to literally nerf it! lol
I read that actor who plays Eddie it's coming back in season 6 as well in the comic books and in Young Justice irises varies Anker lightning rod because they actually show her being a journalist and nice and decent person but the live-action version of Iris it done a horrible job with her she was okay and season one but after that she sucks now. And trust meme they could literally get rid of everyone else on team flash except for Barry Caitlin and frost McCall hair color Frost anymore because technically this version of her has not killed anyone and if she has I don't remember and I sang corrected it just the two of them would be able to do it
I just hate the fact that in the end, Barry was the one apologizing when he really didn't do anything wrong. I think Westallen made up waaaaay too easily, especially after what Iris said about Thawne. That is crossing the line. Even if I thought it was cute that Barry applied Caitlin's family's quote to his own situation, meaning that he thought of them as his morality guide, he should not have mended with Iris that quickly (or at all if it were my choice). If anything it should have been a father and daughter parallel on fixing his situation with Nora, not using it as a "Iris was right" excuse.
Also while I'm venting, Iris totally made the situation worse with Nora by going into the future and trying to do things in "her own way". I will say that even though they made Iris apologize for that, I still hate that they make Iris's mistakes more "excusable" than Barry's. She can never be called out for her flaws before the writers make someone apologize to her for calling her out in the first place. It's so irritating.
Overall, your reactions never disappoint. It's always nice to see someone who is thinking the same things I'm thinking while watching the show.

Okay, so first of all, I'm not a fan of Iris, however, let me clarify what she meat. She said she doesn't care that Nora is working with Thawne (wasn't thinking about the part with Barry's mother) because Nora is still her daughter. If your parents found out about something you did, you'd want them to be more like Iris and even though you did those things, they don't care in the way as in, we still love you kind. You wouldn't want your parents to leave you behind like Barry did. His actions, although justifiable, was not the best choice.
Iris isn't saying she could care less about Barry's mother's death, because although this involves Thawne who killed Barry's mother, it's not about that. It's about Nora. And Barry is blinded in thinking that all earth versions of Thawne are awful even though all versions of Harrison Wells (Sheloque, Earth 2, etc.) had different personalities and were different.
What I'm just saying is that both parties are at fault here, and I respect your opinions. :)
@@SaraBethCox Well, honestly, if she did love Barry, SHE WOULD BE BOTHERED BECAUSE THAT IS THE SAME GUY THAT KILLED THE MOTHER OF HER LOVED ONE. And yet she didn't seem at all bothered by that fact. Also, Nora is in danger, working with Thawne of course, but she really looks like she didn't care at all lol.

The thing that pissed me off the most, was that whole entire rant by Iris at the beginning. Oh my gosh, I wanted to reach through the tv and throat punch her she pissed me off so much.
1) She still holds a grudge for him entering the Speedforce to save the planet from its lighting attack. It’s not like he had much of a chose in the matter, if he stayed to marry her sorry ass sooner (because face it that is why she is so salty about it) everyone would have died. So yeah, he did the Hero thing because that’s what he is (though I thought that was the side of him she loved ie Flash!?!) through and through.
2) Telling him to not act on his emotions then turning around and acting on HER own damn emotions just reinforced why she is such an hypocritical contradiction.
3) Not caring that Nora has been working with ET/RF and lying about shows just how much she truly cares about Barry. I really wanted her to go through with the separation/divorce but no such luck (too many I/WA fan brats would have a hissy fight and blow a gasket). Maybe next season, fingers crossed. Also it shows she equally doesn’t care about Eddie because Eddie literally sacrificed himself in order to stop ET/RF. But apparently he and his memory don’t matter at all anymore. It really does feel like he never existed these days.
Then after all that crap, Barry is still forced to play the “you were right, I was wrong” card with Iris so everything would be hunky dory by the end of the episode. Would it really of killed them to be on the outs for longer then 1 friggen episode? Geese!
Also Iris’s attempt at a pep talk with Nora went as well as the pep talk she gave to Barry right before he created Flashpoint. She seriously needs to learn when to talk and when to keep her trap shut. OMG!!! So many things would have and could have turned out sooooo much differently it wasn’t for her and her stupid pep talks.
By the way, why was her not getting to say “good-bye” such a big deal when she’s the one that has and raises her in the future????? Seriously Barry is the only one that should matter with, and he got to say goodbye.

THANK YOU!! When I watched this episode I was so pissed that she got all hurt that she didn't get to say goodbye. Like bish you raise the kid, you get to see her grow and become the woman that stood in front of you! Barry got like what? Three years with her and his video message, his one chance to say he loves her one last time, doesn't get played for her till she's a freaking adult cause iris hid that all from her!

Even before I shipped Snowbarry, I just wanted Caitlin to be happy. This breaks my heart.
Ronnie and Thomas both died after she FINALLY got them back. Her team treated her like she had some infectious disease when Killer Frost was first manifesting. 'Jay' turned out to be a monster. And Thinker took KF (a part of her she was finally starting to accept) away from her!

I honestly expected a parallel between the part where Icicle tried to kill Cait, but for the great LOVE that Thomas felt for her, he managed to come back to himself. This also happened in the seventh episode of the third season in which Barry challenged Killer Frost to kill him and in doing so Cait managed to come back to herself. So from this, we can deduce that Cait LOVES Barry (and we all know that Barry loves her too)

To be honest hearing Barry and Iris having a loud argument about Barry's decision to send Nora back was surprising to me, in a good way, but to hear how she wasn't bothered by the fact that Nora was working with Nora Allen's killer, Thawne, shocked me. If that had been my girlfriend, I'd have kicked her out for that level of disrespect. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Barry divorced Iris by the end of the season for how much disrespect Iris showed for him and his mothers death. On the flip side though, I really enjoyed that the episode had a lot of Snowbarry/Flashfrost scenes and parallels to it, and that Barry both admitted, more-or-less, how valuable Caitlin is to the team and that Barry started to see Iris in a different way.
Nothing against WestAllen fans if they disagree with me, because I'm fine with if someone is a WestAllen fan even if I'm not, but even the WestAllen fans have to admit that what Iris said during their argument in the Pipeline crossed the line and was cruelty levels of harsh.
I loved/hated this episode. I loved that Barry grew a pair in the beginning of the show and finally told Iris what she needed to hear from him, not from everyone else on the team. He told her it’s not all about her and her damn emotions for once. He couldn’t trust Nota anymore. Every person that he got a bad feeling about or couldn’t trust fully in the beginning turns out he is right about. First it was Dr. Wells, he was the first one to notice he wasn’t really Dr. Wells. Then there was “Jay”. He told everyone that he didn’t trust him just because he said he was a speedster. You get my point. Every time Barry says he doesn’t trust someone they always, ALWAYS betray the team and someone gets hurt or dies. And for once I just wish the team would go with his gut. He made the right decision. He couldn’t trust her so he sent her back. Iris is the most selfish person on this show. It’s always about her. 🙄 I can’t stand it anymore. Sorry had to rant for a moment..
I loved the killer frost scenes and icicle! I really hoped that her dad could of stayed a little longer...but he couldn’t and that breaks my heart... I really wish Barry would of hugged her... he knows better then anyone how much it hurts to watch your father get killed right in front of you. Instead it “showed” him how important a family was. 🙄🙄 no offense but I really wanted them to stay mad longer. But I love that right when Barry was about to die and when he warmed up the first and only person who came out of his mouth was Caitlin. She was that only person he was worried about. He gets this expression on his face whenever she gets kidnapped that just screams volumes. Notice when Iris gets kidnapped his face doesn’t really change. But when Cait is gone he just looks so helpless. Like a real concerned husband who can’t figure out how to save her. He can save 1,000’s of people everyday hell even his own wife he doesn’t blink an eye he just does it. But when Cait is gone he freezes up. He just looks so lost.
Is it weird that by waiting for the next reaction that I watch his videos over to keep the hope alive 😊❄️⚡️

And I was really happy when Barry reacted back and showed Iris the mirror. It was clear how much that hurt Barry. I mean can you imagine how hard that must have been for Barry, for a guy who witnessed his mother being killed in front of him when he was a kid, to go all these years?? Because I do know he must remember it from time to time....... And even after they made up, I was wondering what kind of impact that would have had on Barry, because he sure as hell will be remembering those words which Iris said........even thinking of it gives me chills.....

This episode i was looking for like a divorce scene
I mean, at some point iris was writing something on her laptop and Ralph starts to read it and says something along the lines of “I don’t know if I can get passed this.” Which indicates at some point she was thinking about it.

When Barry and Iris were fighting I could hear the divorce papers getting filled out and the wedding bells for Barry and Caitlin. I was sooo happy when they were fighting I was like here we go this is the end of WA.

Why hasn’t Barry divorced iris and gotten with Caitlin yet, it’s clear their in to each other and iris and Barry don’t suit and aren’t they technically in a way brother and sister.
The last time we saw Viris being that belligerent was at end of 3rd season when Barry went into the SF. I never forgot how she behaved(not to mention the first 3 episodes of season 4) for being so damn needy & selfish for wanting her wedding to take place at that point. If Barry hadn't enter the SF at Viris' urging, Central City would've been destroyed, along with its citizens, that includes her as well. In this argument, when asked about it from Barry about caring that Nora 2nd was working with the RF & lying about it for months, Viris said she wasn't bothered by it. That took the cake right there & it shows how much of a heartless sociopath Lady Macbeth can really be. Making decisions based on emotions & Barry said to her: "Look in the mirror."
It reminds me of a line from Batman Forever in 95' what Two-Face said this: "You're right Bruce. You always have taught me that emotions are the true enemy of justice."
Viris looking at herself in the mirror is just as the same as Allen Iverson taking practice more often.

Barry should have sympathized with Iris because Iris wanted to do right by her daughter this time, but Iris should have also sympathized with Barry because again, THAWNE KILLED NORA ALLEN. (Btw, it still bothers me that Iris killed Savitar, that's some next level shit and they have NEVER mentioned that. that event should have been a great character arc for Iris, but noooo, she should be just fine after killing Barry -_-)
*side note, I have't watched the series since HR died, but I really love Frost's fighting scenes that I see. and damn, Cait's mom.

Iris just gets progressively worse and worse each season, each episode, each minute. When Barry snapped like that I cheered because when you actually love some one you support them through thick and thin, Iris hasn't ever done that for Barry and mind you this is the fourth or fifth time he's been betrayed by someone who was close to him. I hope the new writers for the new season end this relationship because marriage is never one sided, until Iris comes in and fucks up the story with her "Its all about me crap*In fact their marriage should've ended right then and there when Barry found out it didn't bother her.
We need to be friends cause every single time I see barry and iris iam like "ugh here she is again" and when no see catlin and barry iam like "ahhhhhhh my ship is about to sail" but.....it never did like frick you writers

This was an amazing episode! Two videos I’m a day is a gift. Loved all the Snowbarry moments in it. When Barry woke up and said Caitlin, I almost lost it. Also WTF what kind of wife says I don’t care our daughter is working with your mothers killer. That’s disrespectful. Also using Caitlin’s dad as the reason Barry goes back to Iris is BUUUUULLLLLLCRAP! Loved the episode and I can’t wait for more of your reviews. #Snowbarry

Think back to the end of season one. Barry told Iris 'He killed my mother'.
Barry had finally, FINALLY, found his mother's killer. The thing that has been his driving force for over ten years! And it turned out to be 'Harrison Wells', the man that Barry idolized and admired for so long.
And how does Iris respond to such weighty news? By asking 'is he going to kill Eddie?'
WHAT! THE! F***********k?! This is not the time to worry about you!!! I really liked Eddie, but I thought she should have shown at least SOME aknowledgement of how this revelation ment to her 'Best friend' that she grew up with!

The writers who wrote Iris's scenes in these couple episode annoyed the hell out of me. It is beyond freaking human decency to diss ur freaking partner and his feeling for inexplicably selfish purposes. I hope they are hinting at divorce at this point. And more, she accelerated, if not directly made, her daughter into this evil persona by meddling S**T that she shouldn't have been meddling at the first place. GOD SHE'S ANNOYING.

It would be great if we could just get a episode was just Barry and Caitlin in it. This is also another thing Barry and Caitlin have in common noun they're both seen their dads get killed in front of them.
As for Iris yeah and I hate the fictional character but she is literally the worst person in the arrow universe now. if Oliver wasn't leaving I would swear he Caitlin and Barry need the starter support group of seeing their parents die in front of them. But it seems like iris untouchable she can do no wrong everything she says right if she doesn't get her way she'll just do whatever she wants. I have not cared for Iris since the end of season 3 and I have to say everything the writers are doing with her from giving her credit to killing Salvator making her the leader of team flash when Barry and Caitlin we're gone. the Cisco Joe and Harrison Wells from Earth 2 would have made much better candidates as well as saying we are The Flash. the support base for her and her Berry being together they're insane authorities riders. Here's the thing Iris on The Flash TV show it's nothing like her, but counterpart. Granted in The Flash comic book there is no King flash Barry and I are and I want to remind everyone you reach the comics and you don't in the comic iris is still a reporter and she's also Caucasian and she has a red hair Erin Barry play off each other strength like Barry and Caitlin do on the show. And can't win it's permanently and her killer frost persona and she has no idea that Barry is The Flash in the comics what's ironic is killer frost in the comics at least the version of her who is Caitlin snow has a crush on the flash.
There is no snow Berry flash Frost in the comics but that's pretty much the only there's three reasons I still tune in to the Flash to see Barry and Caitlin moments in Caitlin and frost. I'm Caitlin really need to change your name to frost in season 6 because unless I know something I don't think they've actually killed anyone.

Also just to give people a heads up the following the same if I did from season 3 they're going to have a virus beat the reverse flash someone posted the filming of the scenes with Barry noir and I was fighting the reverse flash and it looks like they're going to use Iris again for the win. I will never understand why they're making IR so much focus or significance. everyone else could leave the show except for Barry and Caitlin and killer frost what would make a really good show.
Where the last 3 episodes
I would've like to see more of the snowpack. Thomas would have been great in the show. Family is the theme afterall. And Icicle was just there for a while and then just gone, he would've also been a good side villain. That's just what I think.
Anyway, this episode really shows how well Barry and Cait work together. They are really quite the pair and they make one hell of a team. 😉

She is killed by someone trying to hurt Barry
In this time Barry is comforted by Caitlin which makes it different that Savitars because he has Caitlin this time and she’s not in prison
After about 2 maybe 3 episodes of mourning which is the most iris deserves tbh he realises he loved Caitlin this whole time and then snow Barry is realised
Barry’s heart is split into 4. 1.barry Allen 2.flash 3.caitlin snow 4.killer frost. With that he is complete and unstoppable.
There is a knife going through that and it’s named ‘iris west’

All these moments, first Barry basically tells "her" that she's sleeping on the couch till further notice, then Barry leans on his Caitlin for support, he loses all functionality when his Caitlin gets kidnapped and now getting a glimpse of a future that you can see in his eyes that he wants. Dadgummit I need SnowBarry to fall in love and realize it.
