Being liberated is not a bad thing. And parents have to know that a child’s growth is always a mix of nurture and nature. So they should take responsibility for how they bring their child up while ensuring that the child’s environment will help them flourish. We cannot expect a child to grow up the same way we did when there are so many different factors that differ from how, when, and where we were raised. We brought them here. We have to realize and appreciate that having them exposed to more diverse perspectives and trained to think critically instead of simply following the herd mentality is a gift.

We have 3 kids all were educated in Canada we received the child tax benefit in our first 2 years once we were both working we no longer qualified. We relied on a combination of RESPs academic scholarships and savings to fully fund their university education. We did not qualify for any OSAP.They all left our home and went to university in London, Hamilton and Waterloo. We were educated in the Philippines and compared to our kids they were much more independent, were more at ease in carrying conversations and more articulate than we ever were. We did not worry about them not wanting to go to university because we told them that was not an option. They could go to any university in Ontario but they needed to pass all their subjects. If the fail a subject they will have to live at home and study in the schools in our area.

Given na ung benefits, ang issue is ung environment. May 11 year old nakikipag away sa bus driver, tawag niya sa driver "bruh"
Controversial for some pero for me, advanced masyado un.

Thank you very much and I appreciate your comments. You are right, and I believe that in every country, you will find these as well. I'm truly sorry about your friends child. I hope that your friends child finds the right support and cure on they way to recovery. The home is really important to guide children and growing the right value and responsibility.

I agree! Pag free it means you are the product. Basta alam mo that is how they operate wag maging too comfy. May nakukuha man (child benefit) o wala nasa pag-diskarte na lang. Tyong mga Pinoy naman ma-diskarte tlaga.

The topic is very interesting I just wish she stops invading his answer when is is the one who ask the questions. The guest has lots of good points of view in question she ask but the the guest just gonna say yeah your right because she keeps answering her own question... OMG
