Finally, a church applies the biblical approach to politics!!! We should NOT identify as anything but a child of God. Neither side fully supports Jesus or the Bible. The enemy is using separation against us. Stay true to your identity in Christ above all. If only, we'd campaign for Jesus on media the way we do for candidates. By far, the best knowledge....wisdom.....on the topic. Love what God's doing at GFC and through the pastors. Praying for our community ❤
Im a new subscriber from SoCal (fun fact - I've got family in Hudson, close to Newport Richey) and I loved this video. Thanks for being careful but honest about these topics. Im excited to hear more messages. Bless you guys.
Hi, Pastor Hal and crew. Loved your take on this topic but have a follow-up question. I am a 54 y/o who has been a Christian for 35 years. I take a great interest in politics but agree it should not define us nor cause us to sin in our critique of others. But I'm wondering what you all think about Eric Metaxas recent book "Letter to the American Church" in which he draws a strong parallel between the western church today and the Christian church in Germany during Hitler's regime. His argument is that the German Church's decision to remain quiet, not make waves and not offend led to the slaughter of millions of their Jewish countrymen and women when the Bible says to "Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?" (Proverbs 24:11-12). Is this not analogous to modern day abortion. Of course, as you know, Jesus also turned over the money tables in the Temple and called the Pharisees things like "brood of vipers" and "white washed tombs." My fiancé seems to feel our greatest calling is to not to offend or hurt anyone's feelings, but I say Jesus and His message were often strong and highly offensive to pagans and pretenders. How do you rectify or balance this in your minds?
I will vote again for my beloved President Trump again ❤. He represents all my values, family, Christian, civic. No abortion, no gender ideology, no same-sex marriages, all of them condemned by God.
Neither party is fully biblical. Neither is conservative enough. As far as caring for the poor, which is often thrown out as an issue in favor of Democrats, that isn’t the biblical role of government. It should be done by the church and individuals but not government. Government’s job, biblically, is to reward what is good and punish evil. There is one party that, nationally, has this backwards: Democrats. For this reason, I think voting for national Democrats should be cause for church discipline. Democrats have taken Romans 1 and made it their platform.
Grateful for your biblical and balanced view on a sensitive topic. Thank you for speaking about it. 🥰

Latina for Trump all the way. God bless Him.
May God protect him from slanderers.🙏
Jesus all the way! Worship no man ! The Bible condemns this! Serve no false idol! Or face hell!
Who is protecting those whom he slanders?
So much wisdom on this episode! Good job y'all, people need to hear this message.
Pastor Hal for President! 🇺🇸😅
Lead with the lords word . Vote with your conscience!
Haha the podcast title is such a hook. Well played!
Great topics and discussion! Areas I struggle with daily. Thank you for always being transparent and sharing the word of God! ❤️

Good question.
Can you start putting episode # title please

Two out of three is better than zero out of three. Trump supports gay marriage but not the others.

I don't remember ANY REPRESENTATION OF JESUS FROM ANY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE! Vote the platform! Not the sinful person like all of us.
Thank you God, for creating us with our own criteria and discernment.
I believe & my opinion is to not mix religion with politics...And the Angels sing 🎶 Holy! Holy! Forever 🙏🏼 ♥️
As long as conman Trump is at the top of the Republican Party, I’ll never vote red again.
Me too! Voted for him in 2016. Never again!
@@AustinSullinsSame. The Republican Party is an embarrassment.
@@AustinSullinswhy? I love Trump and will continue to vote for him..
