Great performance cars these Suzukis. My current 2018 Swift sport 1.4L work commuter got me 88000kms from the original Continental tyres, has 136000kms on the clock and is only half-way through its front brake pads and routinely averages 6.4L per 100kms. Never missed a beat, very reliable. Now that is what I rate as great performance from a daily city driver.
My understanding is they brought over the EU spec model to sell here, so not only crazy good efficiency, but it's EURO6 emissions compliant, under 100g/km for CO2 emissions. I really wish we have more of these sorts of vehicles in our market. If you only need on-road ability, it's hard to beat. In Europe I think the Ignis comes with mild hybrid as well, and also has an AWD option - I'd love to see that be offered here.
I own this car and it must have different specs in what part of the Empire you reside in. Mine has the driver monitoring system. The manual handbrake is far far superior to any electronic handbrake. A manual handbrake is not going to leave you stranded whereas an electronic one will. To me a manual handbrake is a selling point.
You dont like manual hand brake its much better than electric hand brake not much to go wrong electric hand brakes electric calipers are trouble and expensive to replace i am a mechanic 40 years suzuki are very reliable i have serviced many but thats is it only serviced they never need any other work
It's nice but a 60kw engine and 110nm is terrible. You may as well buy a base i30 or a Cerato for not much more money and you nearly twice the power and more space.
Nice evolution of a great car, The previous model had the rear door handles concealed in the C piller, going back to a standard layout removes some design flair
Just ordered one. Was looking for small.manual. Not much choice. Did test drive and also a auto. All autos were dogs as they lack decent trasmission. And are built down to a price.. The Mazda 2 is very stale and a bad drive and i like our mazda 3. The 2 was a terrible on the road and how they sell surprises me. People musnt test drive them? . The suzuki has some flaws mostly from cost cutting eg 2 speakers, bsm, side mirror and other features like park brake, rear drums, no driver height adj but drives really really well. Its zippy and drives tightly with a smooth ride. Light and tight. made in japan to japanese standards too. They have done a good job to make it seem less plsstic with dual tone interior. Sest colour for manual is also better than grey on other models. Now to buy alloys as the cheap wheels look disgraceful.
Gotta laugh at these reviewers. eg. the steering wheel is almost the same as before, the electronics are a little slow. I wonder does he really think about what he says, it is a small car mate. $24,990 driveaway is a winner in my books.
What a weird review, Wanting it to have something different in the cluster like a full digital display, sir, thats what everything else has. Manual handbrake is way better than the electronic one for longevity. Driver alert system delete is a blessing
Its engine is a big minus and it will lose sales with this power. I live in Greece and am seriously thinking about buying this car. I saw it and I liked it. But unfortunately I haven't seen it circulated much yet. Will it sell? Among so many turbocharged cars already on the market. What luck will have such a sluggish 82hp engine? They should have put a more powerful hybrid and let it have fewer safety systems. Here in Greece, they will certainly not prefer such a slow car........

4.2 l/100km?? That's even better than my 2017 Prius C 😮 That's amazing for a mild hybrid

I'm 6'1", and found the rear seat, while a bit cramped, surprisingly comfortable!
Newest Swift with Mild Hybrid Technology will b Damm Awesome
I like that it has an actual physical handbrake, i dont like the automatic ones.

This is AUS/NZ. Not uk. All cars are regionally specd and built. Eg uk carplay also allows youtube. Not here. Only yt music and no video playback
One thing the reviewer didn’t mention is the new Swifts really small turning circle. My wife loves ours because it’s so easy to park.
Thinking about buying one
However i don't trust cvt transmission
I love how 25K is considered "cheap, entry level" these days. I bought a new Honda Jazz for 15K in 2015. The price has almost doubled in 10 years
Bring in a 1.0 L3 boosterjet turbo (runs on E10 unleaded) for the new Swift.
Never talked about the CVT gear which i wanted to hear about ☹️
Is that right the traction battery is under the drivers seat..? usually under the rear seats on hybrid cars..?
I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the hybrid version.
I’m thinking about purchasing the Suzuki swift sport 1.4L Turbo
It's a great car, check out our review on our channel, just search Swift Sport
Its unoticeable really. It is start stop and not much more. Take the badge off you wouldnt know

Yes Definitely practicality fuel Economy and sounding proofing more than enough for Suzuki swift to conquer the world

Even Skoda Fabia City with 1L turbo petrol 82kw would be better buy, should be launched in August, price around 30k
What is the exact color of the swift according to the video?
Space grey
Which color would you recommend? Silver or White
What’s the name of colour for this suzuki?
Nice evolution of a great car, The previous model had the rear door handles concealed in the C piller, going back to a standard layout removes some design flair
It wasnt well liked. Looked wierd and made a huge blind spot
Nice but engine to small
At least should have a1.5
Disappointing because looks great
I wonder why they offer wireless charger in Australia but not in Europe.
Because Aussies are lazy
Its incl in the top model but a $1000 option otgerwise. No thanks

Auto super.Inteligentne i nowoczesne.Miejskie.
Stop talking about the hard plastics and the small boat it's a cheap small car !! What else do you expect!!
Love the car but it uses 95 unleaded. Not sure with this in the mix how economical the car really is.
It add approx $250 a year in fuel costs v e10
95 is standard pump fuel in Europe.

I agree. 83hp is pretty weak. At least it's economical.
I don't like the monobrow/unibrow bonnetline. It's hideous.
😡😡 MR SUZUKI HAS MADE ANOTHER PLASTIC CAR GEEZ ITS 2024 😡😡😡😡
Such a lovely, ugly little car.
