I jist installed my alt yesterday but i didnt hook up the power and regulator cause i dont know how... What does field mean??? Does that hook up to like whatever switches on when car turns on like a remote wire ffrom stereo to amp???
I'd use Dielectric grease instead of the Noalox. Noalox is designed for breaker boxes where you have aluminum wires touching copper connectors. This prevents the metals from reacting with each other. Not excatly what you want for this application! Good vid though!
Dmarius Gadson I went to the junk yard and cut one off to use. And left the factory one wired but disconnected so I could take it back to stock. But you could cut the wires and use the plug. You would just have to ground one wire and run the other to the regulator.

Would a 60amp relay or 80 amp relay be able to handle more alternators ?
the relay should really just tell it to turn on the 8 ga wire you install to the positive would be the question i think

Yes but if it don't work try from the other end as well some do work from the right to the left it depends but yes if it don't work try both ways
You can get them pretty much thru any HO alt dealer. And if you take the model number from the video you should be able to track one down no problem.
i"ve googled quite a bit but i have no idea where to buy one of these at?
eBay or down for sound.. down for sound has the whole package wiring fuses and all better choice

Same problem happened to me sometimes the potentiometer works from the right to the left
