- Polish Ice Dance team Jenna Hertenstein and Damian Binkowski practice their 2022-2023 Senior Rhythm Dance before competing in the 2022 Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships. Jenna and Damian are coached by Sylwia Nowak-Trebecka, Alexei Kiliakov, Elena Novak, Ruslan Goncharov, Vasily Serkov, & Jimmie Manners.

I love it too. However. For such a percussive rhythmic song the stroking and transitions are too lyrical for me. I wish there was a more intentional leaning into of the actual rhythm., being a rhythm dance and all.
Some folks don't have natural sazón. 😂 Experience in Latin dance might help.
First time I hear actual bits of reggaeton and DON OMAR in a skating routine. Feels heartwarming cause growing up with that music and listening to it almost every day (I’m from the DR) I always wondered what it would be like skating to it

Ditto. Also the height difference (173 cm - 192 cm) is a little larger than is usual for a dancing couple and in this case allows him to add a graceful slow motion quality to her assisted small jumps.

Love these skaters and loved this music when I cut it in 2018. With so much amazing music and creativity in figure skating, I hate to see coaches reuse music from their past programs.
