Thank you so much! This really helped a lot because I was very confused when my advisor told me and I didn't want to sound dumb by asking again. Us students appreciate you!
I am a freshman college student, and I was confused about all this minor and concentration talk lol. This really broke down everything for me! Thank you for this video!
I’m a highschooler I have a question about college, will you learn less in a minor class than if you were taking the same class as a major? Also how does double majoring work?
No! If you take a class as a Minor or Major class they hold the same credit hours. For example in Accounting you have to take Intro to Acct which is 3 credit hours, if you take this if your minoring in Acct it will still be the same class and same credit hours. You just take less credits with a minor (total of 18 credits) vs a major (total of 120 credits). Hopefully that helps. Double Major you take more college credits then the average. I can make another video explaining more into detail about double majoring!

So an Associate degree considered as a certification as well 🤔
An Associate Degree is a degree. There’re certifications that you can get that add value to your degree.
