ABOUT THE SONG:
I recorded this song with my dear friend Josie in the Five Points stairwell at Covenant College. I've probably spent several collective hours playing music in this place during my time at Covenant. I love the acoustics.
It took me a while to enjoy this song. At first, I thought it was about a strong Christian on the mountain top singing The Lord is My Joy. But I've come to realize this is a song for the Christian who is in the valley, hopeless, watching, and waiting for God to come and rescue.
