As a former serviceman I salute Cpl. William 'Kyle' Carpenter for his outstanding selflessness, quick thinking, live saving actions. I have one question that perhaps someone here can answer for me. The presentation of the Medal of Honor Flag is a relatively new honor going with the medal. I am curious to know what the recipient does with the flag. Is it a purely display flag, folded and encased in a timber triangle; or is it a flag that is flown on the recipient's unit flag staffs, or is the recipient allowed to fly the flag at his place of residence? Does he, or she, get a small version of the flag to be flown on the recipient's private vehicle or any service vehicles he or she travel in? I only ask these questions because in my country, Australia, people awarded the Australian Victoria Cross do not receive a Victoria Cross flag. In fact there is no such flag connected to that award. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to reduce my ignorance... Cheers, BH
