NEM-O PHIL-A. No finding Neemo and no IA at the end. Its a bit of an optic illusion. Everybody usually gets it mixed up wrong first time. Nemophila: A North American blue and white flower thats prolific in Japan at the Hitachi Seaside Park. Thousands visit it in early springtime. Mayu chose the name because the five petals of the flower represent the five members. They have so many great songs. Their first music video called RAITEI is a great starting point. Another great band is HANABIE. Try "We Love Sweets" Hint: Mayu from Nemophila and Yukina from Hanabie sang Nemophila's "ZEN" together early in June and it was a screamo fest.
@@oojamap Yep. As in them. In fact Mayu the lead singer said Neemo at their last livestream then laughed and said Neemo Americano. She then corrected herself saying NEM, NEM OPHILA with a smile.
Nemophila just celebrated their 4th anniversary. Five beautiful, amazingly talented ladies who just love to have fun and melt your face, were able to make a name for themselves covering songs on UA-cam and putting out killer originals. They all come from other bands so even though they are young they have a lot of experience between them and were even able to do a US tour earlier this year. For originals they also recently put out "Oiran" live and I also recommend "Adabana" the music video. But I also suggest you browse their UA-cam page, as I said they have put out many many covers, so you might find one you really want to check out. They've done Iron Maiden, Skid Row, Kiss, AC/DC, Journey and others as well as many Japanese bands.
Welcome to one of the best bands around at the moment. They are current, they are active and they are excellent. It’s a shame this style of music isn’t in fashion, it makes the fact they do it so well in spite of that fact even more impressive. They will eternally have my thanks and gratitude.
You wont be disappointed checking out this band there superb and mega talented .Mayu switches in songs from English to Japanese so its hard some times to follow .
The members of nemophila are musicians from 5 different bands. They are all excellent musicians. And their styles cross various genres of music. I recommend《oiran》live (recent one) as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻
One of the things Nemophila has in common with Lovebites, despite being completely different styles of metal, is their propensity for writing positive and uplifting songs. This song is about finding inspiration in music, about never giving up and not letting depression keep you down. And while most of Nemophila's songs are primarily in Japanese, this one is mostly in English. The screamed parts are entirely English. The clean vocals have a couple lines in Japanese, but are otherwise also mostly English. Once you get used to Mayu's annunciation, you'll be able to pick out the English parts mostly.
Love this band. My favorites right now is The Warning and Nemophila. The rhythm section of this band are almost always smiling, love it. No real lead guitarist because they both play lead and rhythm.
I'd recommend checking out " OIRAN " from the same concert - think you'll enjoy it . BTW - as everyone has probably already told you - it's NEMOPHILA - not NEMOPHIL-I-A 😂😉
The official music video for this song has subtitles. If I remember correctly, this song is 100% English. And there's no -IA at the end of the band name. It's pronounced Neh-moe-fee-la.
