To win this game, one thing stands out to me. The Ducks must dominate with their Defensive line. Put a spy on Howard, if we can't control their offense they have the advantage.

I’m a buckeye fan….i watch every play every year. I’m gonna say something that may surprise some people but I think we will see it tomorrow. Against Iowa was the first time in a long time the entire D line for the buckeyes actually dominated a game. By Ohio State standards, our D line (more so the ends) are not as good as people think. And neither are the linebackers in the run game. Now the middle of the buckeye line is tough, but you can run on us off tackle and on the edges along with our corners not being overly physical so those screens Oregon runs are gonna put us in trouble. I hate to do it but I think Oregon actually wins this game. High scoring, 34-31. Buckeyes get better as the year goes on and we end up coming back to win the Natty but we lose tomorrow.

I don’t think it’s going to be so much our D-line vs their O-line as it is our O-line vs their D-line.
Ohio State is _strong_ on the left side of the O-line in comparison to the right side. Oregon may be testing that right side, unless Ohio State just pounds the left side repeatedly.
Thing that makes Ohio State so difficult to stop is their RPO. The way they execute the RPO is nothing short of perfection.

How is it an upset if you are playing a team ranked directly above you but you are playing them at home? If you ask me it's not much of an upset if Oregon beats Ohio State although I don't expect it.
Because OSU is the favorite so it is technically an “upset”
Upset is a gambling term named after a racehorse
Betting odds. Someone has to be a technical favorite or technical underdog.
You answered your own question. You don't expect it. But also the betting lines are another reason we call something an upset.
As an Oregon fan, we are over ranked. I'd be shocked if we win. Weve improved in some areas but still very flawed.

Cowherd’s clearly never been to the Horseshoe for UM/OSU. It holds literally twice as many people, in a double decker setup. 54k vs 104k. Its nowhere near the same, and yes, Ive been to big games in both stadiums.

@@chef2042The crowd set the richter scale off to the tune of 5.7, during the OSU/UM game in 2016. IDK which stadium is louder, but 5.7 is stronger than the “beastquake” game in Seattle.

Im a Ohio fan after my Huskies due to blood, but I dont think there gunna go the distance. Were gunna see upsets this year and with the new playoff format it’s possible it’s anybody’s game.
Hopefully that’s the truth because that would make it the most exciting hence the new format.
