That would be really cool! Perhaps have big Cthulhu displayed as he's sleeping/trapped beneath the city of R'lyeh? The sub could invoke that, "Holy ****!" moment. Sort of a reversal of the courageous fisherman here.

Got an idea it’s abit odd but what about creating an under sea battle with the kraken facing of a pod of prehistoric sperm whales diorama, show casing kraken getting chunks of flesh bitten of (creating a blood stream affect as if the whale has attacked) and then maybe showing the kraken gripping a whale ready to eat or crushing the whale in half (abit gory but realistic) you could maybe place a light stream on top of the diorama with multiple small leds as if it’s taking place near the surface of the ocean. 360 degree view of the battle taking place.

I shaped them with foam and used silicone to get those bumpy details!

Looks awesome, my only issue is that the Kraken is upside down and can't effectively grab its food.
Maybe it did it just because
Someone pointed out that the kraken wasn't in the proper position to eat its victims, and I theorised that maybe it does this for fun, like how orcas knock some animals of ice platforms, wait until they get back on and do it again just for sport.

I use the zbrush software to create the textures and print them out as a tool. I hope it helpful for you.

No it really is perfect. I love the molding of the clay. The details are great all the way down to the lightning cloud at the end. Really good job. I’m a maker as well and I’ve been playing around with clay then making molds pouring with epoxy. Your step by step is great thank you.
