I’ve imagined a backstory to this video. In the eighteenth century, a group of Scottish pirates have kidnapped the daughter of a British Navy Admiral. The leader wants revenge against him for taking his eye, his leg, and his hand during a previous confrontation. The pirate captain wants compensation from him in the form of a treasure chest full of gold coins. He has threatened to make his daughter walk the plank and be fed to sharks if his demands are not met. The Admiral and a select number of his finest men head out to sea to negotiate for her release. That’s when the Kraken attacks
Its not a daughter it the mumy of the little boy or girl

This whole thing was satisfying to watch for how smooth this animation is.
I love the shark fins swimming away as a little detail. For a second I thought the mermaid was going to be the one to stop the kraken from attacking.

I was around 8 when I found this I think it was one of teh first animations I loved, I saw the scene with the Kraken in Pirates of the Caribbean and searched it in Lego and found this insanely good and my fav lego animation.
This is really well done. Every detail in the way things fell in and came out of the water was spot on.

Astonishing stop motion, especially with the destruction of the ships! Would love to know what the music was, as it really fits in with the chaos with the mini figures shooting, and the tentacles flailing in the background.

Amazing stop-motion! Some really creative animations in there (such as the swimming and the explosion) and great cinematography - dramatic, but not over the top like some other stop-motions

Why do I like this so much
This is pretty much when me and 17 other randoms play Sea of Thieves and fight the Kraken, and the Mermaid is that one sloop that just watches the fight, then leaves

3. The pirate in the crows nest.= a redcoat soldier
4. The Lieutenant who is always near the captain.= Army Commander
