I think I speak for all of us when I say we enjoy it too haha. Can’t wait for more! More specifically the anticipation is killing me for the gta lore vid.
@@GabeGonz465 but not after red dead redemption. The only cowboy open world game that early in the seventh gen is this one. Heck, i finished this on both pc and the PSP.
I never thought I would see this game again. This was easily one of my favourite childhood games. Thanks for all the effort and time you put into these "The Story of" videos, Harry
I loved this game. Also some funny interesting trivia. Years ago in an unrelated forum in a torrent site, I used to know a woman who is from Blackfeet Native Americans, I asked her about the facepainting symbolism and she told me about the colour. The red colour mean War, the blue colour mean hunting, so in the game when Colton encounter the captured Blackfeet, you can see the randomly generated Warriors have the red face paint colour
I used to LOVE this game! I played the intro like 10 times cause I was only like 7 when it came out and it was the only level I could beat haha Thanks for doing this Harry!
I greatly appreciate how much real life world history I have thus far learned from your videos 😊 History class always bored me (too focused on German national history and yet, looking at current politics, people didn’t get the memo of “failed to learn history, doomed to repeat it”).
Watching my older brother play this game was like watching a TV show that has a new episode every day as he gets past spots that were more difficult than the last. Each time getting to a new area more interesting then the last. good memories
I remember playing this when I was younger but never finished because the moment my dad saw "kill the indians" he made me immediately turn it off and told me about what happened between the Natives and British settlers + gave me my first lesson on Slavery(were black, polynesian and native). I was pretty young at the time but I still remember that being the only time I ever saw my dad and grandfather cry, and im now 25. I replayed it when I got older and all i could think about were there words. Its an amazing game tho! Dont let my sad comment deter any of you for playing its truly great.
So my best friends dad is THE Joel Jewett and yeah between Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero, Gun was his favorite game he ever got to make. For example, he REALLY wanted YELLOW to be the front cover of the game. Combined with the skull it is iconic now. But the idea is that so many video games essentially use BLACK, RED, THEN BLUE as their main colors and even green with master chief. But yellow? No one ever claimed that color before.
This was a great game I found at gamestop out of nowhere, there's also a shack outside of a mine where if you take a barrel from the mine, drop it next to the wall of the house and blow it up you had every ammo type in the pit, thus was the only way I managed to beat the final boss as the dynamite in the final missions was never enough for my terrible throws
I remember buying the game for XBox. To this day it is one of my favorites from my childhood! Classic treasure hunt well packaged in a simple, sometimes very predictable story. But the game knew what it wanted and that has to be praised today. Shit, now I have to go back into the basement to see if the old console still works and where did I store the game
Man, I was just talking about how I would love to see a rerelease of this game someday and then this pops up today. I remember playing this game right after Red Dead Revolver and be amazed at the open world compared to the set pieces of Red Dead revolver.
I loved this game! It was made by the Tony Hawk pro skater people, and i liked it better then red dead revolver. It had a more epic and serious story and a more satisfying conclusion.
One thing about the civil war that people usually fail to explain is that the south had some of the best soldiers and generals this is why they lasted this long in the war but they ultimately lost due to not having supplies because the north blocked off their supply line at sea and that the north had much more soldiers to actually fight, if you look at the deaths in the war in every battle the south as less dead soldiers on their side in every battle because they were outnumbered in every Battle and when it comes to desertion both sides had deserters not only the south one could even say that the north had more soldiers deserting than the south because they statistically had far more soldiers than the south and most soldiers in the north were not volunteers and did not agree to go fight to free slaves. You can look it up on Google but the Confederacy had an estimated count of 100 000 deserters as for the union goes up to more than twice that exceeding 270 000 soldiers deserting....
Another historical fact not only southerners were part of the Confederacy but also many native american tribes one of the tribes in the southern region who did not Allie themselves with the Confederacy were the apache. Manly tribes like the Comanche were themselves slavers and allied with the Confederacy to preserve their rights to keep slaves.
Hm, the games story is brutal, which is quite welcome, killing the potential love interest/obligatory tough girl early is good as it shows no one is safe, unapologetically pulpy adventure, that despite being on the simpler side does deliver where many so called high brow games fail miserably.
Man, I'm REALLY enjoying covering older games lately!
Keep it up Harry I am here for it
I think I speak for all of us when I say we enjoy it too haha. Can’t wait for more! More specifically the anticipation is killing me for the gta lore vid.
I love when you cover older games. That Hitman video is on constant replay✨🔥
By choice.
And I’m enjoying being here for the ride
damn this dude doesn't care about what'[s trending, he just makes what he wants and we love it
OMFG. I love this game, it was Red Dead before Red Dead. Ahead of its time
Fact mate.
I came back to it from time to time.
This came out after Red Dead
@GabeGonz465 everyone know I'm talking about Red Dead Redemption. Not Revolver
I got so excited when I saw this post lol my stepbrother got this game and I absolutely loved playing it

You’ve inspired me to replay games from my childhood, I’m replaying Fable atm, so nostalgic
I’ve been playing a bit of that too. It’s great. But man, it’s aged 🤣

I once played and complete this game and I still have faith for a remaster of this legendary game
I used to LOVE this game! I played the intro like 10 times cause I was only like 7 when it came out and it was the only level I could beat haha
Thanks for doing this Harry!
I really super am loving the Retro Vault. You're sharing games with such fascinating stories I'd never even heard of.
I'm loving this vault series, games I never knew existed with these cool stories you tell us, or retell stories I forgot or misremember.
And cross of Coronado stays in that mine until young Indiana Jones found him ;)
Awesome reference!
I greatly appreciate how much real life world history I have thus far learned from your videos 😊

OMG I LOVED THAT GAME AS A TEEN. My brother played it and he FORBID me to look at the screen when he had to go do the brothel missions. Great times
I've been waiting for this!!! This is one of my childhood game.
I remember seeing the case over and over like dang looks brutal
Hey man, I just found you and I absolutely love your videos. You’ve actually become a big inspiration for me since watching
"I'M HOODOO BROWN!"
"You were."
Gun was so good, I beat it in one weekend when I rented it back in the day, but I had a blast playing it.
A really overlooked game these days. I remember 100% it and having a ton of fun going through the story.
I honestly think this game inspired red dead it has all the same tropes dead eye, comedically evil antagonist etc
This was honestly better than red dead 1 and it’s a hill I’ll die on

Damn I loved this game as a kid!

Played this on my step cousins Xbox whenever I was invited over at their house back during our middle school years big reason why I love the Wild West
I've been trying to remember why the game play of RDR 1 and 2 were so familiar. This is the game I played well before i played either of those.
LETS GO. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE GAME. such a shame neversoft went under before gun 2 could be made

One of my favorite games I played on gamecube
If in not mistaken this was the first game that I played on the ps2. What a great story.
Thomas Jane needs to do more voice work for games, he just sounds so good
Jesus Christ, this takes me back when I was 5 dude.
I remember wanting to get this so bad for xbox as a kid, I never could find it locally. Oddly enough for recommended vids about Gun last week
So my best friends dad is THE Joel Jewett and yeah between Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero, Gun was his favorite game he ever got to make.

That's ace
I loved Gun. Even the hunting and gathering grind wasn't unpleasant.

look at this game psp was a head of its time
I never played this game myself but I’m glad I’ve been introduced to so many news games because of you Harry.
Harry! Please do a video on Among Ashes! It’s a recent indie horror and it’s really good!🙏
My Brother and I played this game so much growing up truly a classic
Hunting the white wolf still lives with me lmao
Blast from the past frfr😂😂
loved watching this video _!_
I've had this game wishlisted for a while now

Shit, now I have to go back into the basement to see if the old console still works and where did I store the game
Didnt know you would do a video on this game
Now you’re talking my childhood
It’s a lot of fun to learn about games that are decidedly “before my time” (be that actual older than me or just not within my periphery). 😊
Man, I was just talking about how I would love to see a rerelease of this game someday and then this pops up today. I remember playing this game right after Red Dead Revolver and be amazed at the open world compared to the set pieces of Red Dead revolver.
PS 2 was the best era of gaming
Most definitely
He was my original favorite cowboy protagonist in gaming
I remember playing this and loving it
absolute GEM of a game. First one I 100% !!
how fucking rad is this game. Insane cast and an actually adult story. good stuff
I see gaming harry video, I click
I'm enjoying the videos about older games. I assume you are waiting for the new metal gear game before you make the video
This is what im here for!
This game was my childhood, I wish it was popular enough to get a remake, I would buy snd play the SHIT out of it
Yes this is an amazing game is game made me love western games I was like 7 when it came out
Used to have this for Xbox 360, reminded me a lot of Red Dead Revolver 👌
Great video! Always love watching them! Say, will you be covering Max Payne 3?
Easily the most memorable game of the ps2 era for me.
I love this game so much
I lovedddddddd this game when it came out. I really wish they would redo it and maybe make a sequel.
Lord I rember playing this with my brother all the time, I sucked at the boss with the dynamite and he ducked at the pony express missions
I loved this game! It was made by the Tony Hawk pro skater people, and i liked it better then red dead revolver. It had a more epic and serious story and a more satisfying conclusion.
What a coincidence. I'm going to watch Sonic 3 tomorrow and it has G.U.N. in it too.
Great video, even the cat watched it 😊
One of my favorite games haha my tribe name was used the blackfeet. They raised you and you can betray or help them.
Great job love!
4 minutes after the release of a video 33 minutes long
love the intro music
Played this on the PSP
"What are you gonna do shoot us?" *Battle theme begins*
Then, once Harry's video ended, sales for used copies of Gun went through the roof.
This game was the goat, a sequel was in making, nameed "Ghost of Magruder", unfortunately, it disappear from history.
Honestly would love a *DRIVER review
God this game was so goated
Who remembers this on the PS2 and psp?😅
Hey, can you look up a new game called Among Ashes? The gameplay seems interesting, and it has some lore in it.
For some reason i never picked up this gem
Should give it a go if you can. It's fun!
I suggest God Hand for your next entry.
Fun haus played this game lol
Check out Psyops it's a surprisingly deep game mechanically
Could you cover the uncharted series or generation zero, the game had its final update
Reminds me of Red Dead Redemption.
Ok
Oh can you do a Story of Voidwrought . Plz & tnnk yu
Childhood
I didn't even know there were Indians in America at this time weird they all look like First Nations people and not at all like Indians.
I play this game
When I ask my teacher what happened when Europeans discovered gunpowder in china
Doesn't hoodeau remind anyone of dutch Vander linde
Is this a prequel to red dead redemption
Am here
seated with a gun and a plate
please do stalker 2 story explain
I AM VOODOO BROWN!
Edit: ya I know it's Hoodoo
Suggesting Deadly Premonition again
