Your Bridget content has been such a godsend for me. Due to health issues I haven't been able to grind out games and lab sessions as much as I want, including like finding all the good stuff, organizing it, figuring out what works and what doesn't, getting the muscle memory and consistency, etc., which just becomes overwhelming very quickly when you're not in a great place to explore all of it. A video like this that just compiles all of it with commentary, notations, examples, literally everything I could think of that I would need is just SSS-tier, truly appreciated. Also good luck at Frosty!
So weird because at 0:22 he said "I've been playing Bridget since that guy came out", honestly not sure whether or not that's transphobic or not. EDIT: I was partially joking. I get it. Stop replying to this.
@@monsterkill823 A lot of people tend to use "guy" as a gender neutral term without realising it's generally meant to be used towards people who identify as male I've been called guy often, or dude, it doesn't bother me as I know it's just that person's vocabulary I'm certain Diaphone didn't mean anything negative with this Obviously if it was done with malice, it would be a problem However it clearly isn't as Diaphone refers to Bridget with she/her pronouns throughout the vid

I can't say enough good things about this video, it's so informative and comprehensive. I'm going to be working on stuff from here for weeks and it's great to have it all in one place. Thanks for this!
Yessssss perfect timing!!! Thank you so much. Been going through your old Bridget guide wondering what was outdated and what wasn't. Appreciate all your hard work
This is definitely up there as my favorite stuff to see. It's super cool as a followup to the 101 so people have a nice entry ramp and can practice/internalize as much as makes sense for them. But having a starting point for how to structure combos and setplay (and context for each, as opposed to just seeing things watching replays) makes such a huge difference; especially right when I'm trying to take the character more seriously. Thanks a bunch this is a huge help & such an easy spot to send people with questions picking up the character.
Thank you so much for this! A lot people recommended your page! Just started my journey on GGS and Bridget right now is my front runner main! Very well put together video! Explaining it for both beginner, intermediate and advanced players! I’m going to be studying this the next few months! Great job keep it up! Thanks again!
Time to break this guide down into chunks and take them into the lab when i'm ready. So many of these setups/tricks look awesome, can't wait to get them working myself
Your first bridget guide singlehandedly made this character click for me when I was about to give up on her! I'm so glad I found your content and I can't wait to learn all this new stuff 🥰
3:00 I was having trouble with this until I realized that if you do the 2s input too quickly after the c.s, the character gets juggled in the air and the 5h will knock them too far away for 236k to hit. Might not be a problem for a lot of people, but it was messing with my muscle memory, and I figured some others might feel the same.
I have been trying to practice the corner slump recently but I didnt really know how to get it consistently or how to time the follow up to not break the wall, this helped a lot so thank you, great content!
Bookmarks (for me lol) 6:40 better combo than mine 7:55 wiff 2k 8:24 triple fuzzy overhead 9:35 spin jump jh wiff mix 10:30 not a combo just didnt know 2h safejump dispite watching this video multiple times already lmao 11:00 throw oki 14:00 214s makes the j236k plus
(CH)c.S > 5[D] > 5K > DC > 5/2K > c.S > etc. works on heavyweights if you cancel the first hit of c.S instead of letting them both go. Also I have yet to see higher damage corner combos than 6H loops (e.g. c.S > 6H > 236S/H (weight dependent) > microdash > c.S > 6H > 214K > c.S > 6H) and while they fumble in some rare cases in some pretty bad ways I think it's worth prioritizing
Hi Diaphone 😃 Quick correction on 08:31, the combo you get from Bridget's F-Shiki setup does not lead into the same situation as 9jS stops safejumping if she hits more than 3 normals before 2D KD.
ah yes, now ik how Brisket players think, still gonna forget about it in the middle of the match, rely on my gorilla brain and get bodied, but at least I'll know the entire process for their oki, set ups, mix, etc.
Having trouble with the RC at 1:35. If I have the dummy set to block everythign I can get what is in the video, but if I have the dummy set to block low only, when I do that, the j.s Hits but then the j.HS whiffs on crouching characters.
At 1:24 I'm trying to do j.S, but I can't do it. I'm doing a gap with a holding down 4, then i'm doing 44 RRC, but I still can't hit a sitting character. I'm just flying over him. Maybe it's related to the new season and it doesn't work anymore?
When he is doing the c.S counter combo why is he getting a wall stick at the end of Kick Start My heart? I'm doing the same thing and it doesn't pin the character to the wall. Even if I get 14 hits instead of 13 it doesn't stick them there Edit: I am stupid that is all!
Do you think that there’s any chance for an updated I-no advanced guide? I feel like resources are so sparse with all the balance updates making the old ones feel outdated. If anyone has a good resource for current patch I-no, lemme know. Great guide btw.

These guides are great, man! So useful and well articulated.
You're the man, your philosophy on how to play fighting games really works for me much better than a lot of others. Keeping it simple and consistent

Incredibly impressive, we get 2 characters in 1 guide! Diaphone really on the grindset.
I mean, she do be high lowing
I mean they both do good mix so I don't see the problem here (fixed)

Hi diaphone i love You we your fans are waiting for the GG+R slayer guide!
Are you planning on doing a new guide for the new season? (not a start over more like on things like using the new mechanics with her lol)

Not understanding how he’s landing the second kick on the “max damage” combo, they’re usually too far away
love the video, can't wait to mix the shit out of my brother's test :)
2S is 11f startup so idk abt all that you were saying abt people reacting to it lol

Yeah, they changed scooter to prevent the RC mix in season 3. No idea if any alternatives have been discovered.
So sad:(
Do you back- and down dash to drift the RC cancels for KSMH followup?
When he is doing the c.S counter combo why is he getting a wall stick at the end of Kick Start My heart? I'm doing the same thing and it doesn't pin the character to the wall. Even if I get 14 hits instead of 13 it doesn't stick them there
Edit: I am stupid that is all!
So 8:26 completely loses to DP, is there no way to safe jump if you 9J whiff K there ?
risk it for brisket
teach me some wall slump stuff pls bruv

But why isn't it 202?
About oki after a wallbreak super, how do I delay or space my j.S to not get grabbed after?
No delay needed… if you do asap then 2k if it’s true blockstring. If you delay = get frabbed
do u have these combos on your account?????
5:59 combo still works?
Yea it's the same patch iirc, this just dont work vs heavies

can you upload some of these combos to the combo practice tool/if they already exist point me(us) in the right direction to find them?
