I think Pedersen has this mental thing where he must always close things down, just this nature of can't let stuff go away / prove that he can close it. I swear he's done this in countless races where he should / could be saving energy but he can't help himself. A bit like where pog has to try and win every race. Maybe Pedersen actually thought better of it this time.
thanks for cranking these recaps out so quickly-- I had a meeting and missed the last 10km! also I never noticed the absolute unit of a jawline Magnus has, wow
Cort is such a great rider. If you show him the finish line he'll just, well, go for it! And so great that Uno X really got their act together, and did what was needed! He might not be the strongest rider, but his team put him where he always will have a chance, and this time he nailed it!
Yep ITs sad. At the fleche wallone this Team Had more Showtime. Dominating the final. But Just get P4 AS the only Team which Had more than one Rider in the final and the only Team which Had their Captain in the final
@@kristiankasamoen8854 you shouldnt forget that EVERYONE was in the Maximum and all Captains were dropped. At this time a Team with 5 Riders in the final should have a clead advantafe
@@NNRedemption What makes you think the Uno-X riders weren't in the maximum? They tried one attack towards the end but they were marked immediately. Williams, Cosnefroy, Vauquelin, van Gils , Gregoire etc are not bad riders in a finish like that, how can you expect a rider coming back from injury to win?
In France there was a local cold bubble for the past few days and where I live we basically stayed in March until today. So much so I genuinly thought Sunday was Paris-Nice first stage for a moment.
It always amazes me how the speed is sometimes so high that losing the draft briefly from a rider who is strong can be enough for a slightly weaker rider to really drop off the pace.
id like to have my face lowered for much of a ride, like chris froome did/does. If I had, like a visor helmet with a display showing whats in front of me, that’d be awesome. It’s more comfortable. In swimming, your face is lowered, and you use the line on the pool’s bottom to guide you straight. There’s nothing like this for cycling.
Does it have to fit into a category mountain mid mountain or flat sprinter stage? It confuses commentators and seem to confuse the riders and DS a little as well?
historically 3 gc leaders often doesn't end out too well and in addition they made have the ability to play the card of sending Hindley up the road early in some stages since he lost time today and will no doubt lose quite a bit more in the TT.
it was clear before the race that Roglic is the leader without any doubt: Other than he crashes (what he sadly does to often) they both are domestiques for him, and with a reason - they cannot compete with Roglic
Chris Froome looking in peak form to smash out a Tour stage win😂😂😂😂getting paid millions to talk himself up!!! You could run a whole team just on his wages!!
i guess he's getting plenty of exposure for their sponsors as media teams want to interview him & the cameras pick him out enjoying himself chatting to the DS etc; the equivalent of a player signing for a team purely for their ability to sell shirts with their name on it.
Don't underestimate the power of the mustache.
Did somebody say Cort
Easily 50 watts extra
Turbo Tache
SOOOOO happy for Magnus! And that's 2 out of 2 for Denmark :D
As an EF fan very happy for magnus
i feel bad for you vaughters kisses boys
Still the best moustache in the peloton.
Magnus is awesome. Ronaldo is the goat.
wish Magnus was still wearing the EF jersey.
@@fanda6122 huh?
Poor Bruno, he really wanted this one by the looks of him going for it on the final 3km.

Never noticed how much Cort looks like Vingegaard but in the post race interview Cort looks like he could be JV’s brother
Something looks up with his jaw, like it's super swollen or something.
It’s what happens when you speak danish as a kid
@@niibor1 yeah, the equivalent of getting punched in the mouth
All Danes look alike.

Imagine sponsoring a team with millions and then you get 05:37 as reward for your only picture of a world tour win 😶🌫️

Look at Armirail 4:00. He’s barely even on the saddle. That’s pure gouch he’s riding on. Dangerous man 😂
the fog was crazy never seen the like in midday june

So happy to have you doing the highlights again 👌
Great hire by Uno X.
Thanks for all of your hard work man!
thanks for the recap LR!

mostly, but there's a psychological component also
What's the point Tiberi riding this so close after the Giro...
Apparently he's not starting today lol
Fortunato was also in the Giro and did good today.
🇺🇸 Awesome to see that U.S. jersey represented.
I like Sean Quinn so much (and Nielsen!). I hope they both do well in the Dauphine.
🇺🇸
It's a good looking jersey! I expect to see its cross the finish line first 😊
It should be the stars and bars not the stars and squiggles
@@prfit But they squiggle when they wave in the wind! And he sure is moving fast...
Good to see common sense making a comeback with most riders in mitts.
I cant believe Roglic sprinted for bonus seconds. Shocked.
of course he did!
@@fiddleronthebike It would've been peak had he come 3rd.
It was a great effort in the last kilometer, but in the end the motorbike had to recognise Armirail's defeat!
These recaps are much appreciated. Thanks!
Excited to see what Uno X can do in this year's TdF. Can't wait!
again thanks for your highlights
Great recap! Is it possible to display slope AND speed at the same time?
El Jefe returns! Good to have you back LR, blindingly good analysis as ever 🌶️

Tour de Danes comming up!
Lantern, Any thoughts on covering USA Unbound 200 gravel race?
Does it have to fit into a category mountain mid mountain or flat sprinter stage? It confuses commentators and seem to confuse the riders and DS a little as well?
there's no strict rule, no.
don't know why he did that? He's Mads Pedersen, riding when he shouldn't IS HIS THING
Impressive work from Uno X ordered
By Magnus Cort! First win of a stage.
In a A level Tour Uno X will ride
The Tour more to come😜🔝❤️
Armirail was caught by Cort.
Double danish stage wins, double danish maillots jaune & vert
Primoz roglic It's getting good at the right time
NIgel Mansell called, he wants his moustache back!
NM's bushy shubbery was levels above MCN's tame effort
1- Pullback 20 seconds in final 1k!?
2- Teams first WT win and you can't see it!
3- Good to see Derek Gee again
Cort on a new team great to see him win
Why did vlasov en hindley sac their gc. Atleast we now know bora isn´t afraid to make desicions
Vlasov did not loose any time. Hindley did loose 54 though
Because they know Roglic is in good condition

The Fog won this stage.
You say he won by multiple bike lengths but there was no time gap. Why is that?
time gaps on sprint stages only when there is a gap of 3 seconds between riders
Caught Cort Caught Cort
🚁🚁🚁
Where is Remco ?? Has he abandonned the race already ?
I had the same question.
chilling and recovering
Same time as Cort without bs
Côte de what?

Why is bora so clumsy with their climb train, roglic could have easily won with better team work
