Feeling the waves crashing against the shore while lightning strikes your enemies. What am I even writing? Well whatever.
Thunder Breaker is a great class with not many flaws. If I had to mention one of the flaws, this class is probably one of the squishier pirate classes.
I just tried this class out today and it's certainly a contender for my favorite. It's muscling around with Aran and Shade at the moment. I just wish I could macro the skills so I'm mashing one instead of two buttons at a time.
Fun tip to use: While flash jumping upwards, use the Accension skill, you go a bit higher, and use it twice in the air, and you can float for a few seconds before slowly falling down, Speaking of which, you can spam the accension skill to slowly go to the bottom of a map rather then takeing damage, if you want to anyway.

coming back to maple after many many years and I'm really disappointed to find out thunder breakers dont throw sharks across the screen anymore
Yeah sadly but their 5th job skill has them throw a giant shark!
@@TravelingChick We'll see what they do with the visual update. They might speed things up even more...if possible xD They don't even break speed cap with green potions in Kms, so it'll be crazy over here in GMS
I miss when Thunder Breaker’s skills were lightning-based. Now its all water
Just a lot of them. The anchor in 4th job is pirate and lightning themed. The typhoon/gale also has a lot of lightning in it. In 5th job you literally become an ice/lightning mage by using chain lightning haha.

the music in this place is so good! with that desert and some water elements and oasis theme is just sick! it bring me such a good nostalgia of this game!!! (better times)

I am so glad that I am tera burning Thunder Breaker because it is so flashy, fun skills, and very good mobbing. I will consider it my favorite Cygnus knight class to play. But my MP drains so quickly lol.
Once we have familiars back, this won't be a problem anymore xD As long as they bring back mp recovery.

@@doomguy676 Exactly! Their mobbing is insane! The constant screen full of lines is nice! Sure they have low hp, but just use potions!

placebo effect skills seem to have the same delay regardless of wether or not you use them together the only diffrence is instead of doing nothing till you attack again you instead do a skill but the delay of the first skill is still there
Seems to be something to just get used to. Some classes are just more mobile than others.
@@KyoWantsCute i know cannoneer can fly across the map when they use their flash jump and upwards jump, unless you get stuck on a platform in between flight
Hi, do you have any suggestions? My Hayato is currently level 207 with full cra and absolabs 30% + 17*, hitting a ~2m range fully “buffed”. However, personally I feel that hayato has a lower damage as compared to other class, and I’m thinking of changing to thunder breaker to main and boss. Do you think for bossing I should change to thunder breaker? Sorry and thank you.
No need to apologize, and thank *you* for watching! Hayato doesn't hit very high numbers but he does hit pretty quickly. He makes up for damage with his speed. However, it sometimes doesn't feel as rewarding. You can certainly try out thunder breaker for a change of pace.
If i ever made a thunder breaker, i will name him Tanjiro. LOL

You missed a few things about the level 140 hyper. In the words of the Maplewiki,
"For 30 sec, no Lightning Charges are consumed, Gale's cooldown isn't applied, and required Lightning Charges are ignored.
Cooldown: 120 sec
[Passive Effects] Each Lightning Charge grants Ignore Enemy DEF 9%, Final Damage: +20%"
Also why don't you combo annihilate with thunderbolt for mobbing as well?

You'll need to level the Class Zero to level 130 at least to get the B rank effect.

maple is dead game. people play league of legends, overwatch, fortnite. 10 years ago he would have had a lot of subs
It's fine, I make videos for fun. Even my old maple videos didn't get many views.
Probably because his videos are laggy af. If he fixes that I believe the sub would hit a lot more.
Nexon fixed it for me thankfully when they got rid of pet loot lag, monster kill lag, and got rid of the whole controller situation. Hopefully the new videos look better
Why does my thunder breaker feels the same speed as u even with green pot is it a bug or what
The animations should be slightly faster with a green potion. Very slight though. Because Knuckles have a 5 attack speed, and speed infusion + booster brings it down to the soft cap of 2 but really it would be at 1 attack speed if there was no soft cap. Green potion gives another attack speed, and breaks the soft cap, leaving us at 0. So the difference between 1 attack speed and 0 attack speed won't be noticed too easily. It still helps though.

What fo you use to record maple? I use OBS and it cant capture maple :/
I use obs, but I play maple in windowed mode and use window capture to record/stream it.
I've never tried to game capture it though.

As far as I experienced, each lightning charge gives only 5% IED, the rest of the bonuses are passive.
They got the best skill animations in the game imo that shark is sick.

There used to be a green shark toss. But now after 200 you get a blue shark toss.

Create a Cygnus Knight and then talk to Hawkeye to advance into a thunder breaker at level 10. Least that's how it used to be done.

No but if I had to couple electric attacks with anything, I'd go with water. Drench your foes, and then zap them for extra damage!
Omg I just trained a kinesis to 200 and now I want to play this ! Kinesis have too many micromanagement tho, how does this compare?
It doesn't haha. Thunder Breaker has close to no management. You only need to make sure you're always using the buff that gives extra lines, which the cooldown is not a problem at all, and getting the gale buff which lasts a while and isn't a problem either.
To speed up your attacks, you'll be pressing two keys, but you don't even have to press them quickly. It's really nice. Just has low hp.
how are you lagging while playing maplestory?
Because back then maple would continue searching for a controller input every 5 seconds, until it found a controller. I didn't have one so it would just keep lagging me every 5 seconds, even if I didn't do anything. My pc was also very old and pets looting (not shown in this video) and doing quests that involved killing monsters (fixed by a future maple update) would also cause me to lag.
I'm redoing these old videos to include all the skills, including 5th job and hypers, with my new pc which can handle many other games aside from maple.

Start a Cygnus Knight on the character creation screen. Then talk to Hawkeye to become a thunder breaker. Unless they changed the beginning 10 levels.
No 5th job skill demo?
Separate video. I was still working on getting the 5th job advancement at the time of making this video. It was back when you had to wait more than 24 hours to advance. The new version of this video will have 5th job skills included.
@@KyoWantsCute I am trying to decide between Dawn warrior and thunder breaker for my next burning character. Which do you think is better for lvling and unfunded lvl 200?
@@IdsFear I'd say thunder breaker because they cover more area when they train. However they're quite squishy, having low hp.
Dawn warrior has the hp, decent mobbing, and gets amazing 5th job skills. So really, they're both amazing choices.
Dawn warrior's bossing is a little more annoying than TB's though. So if you plan to boss, look into both classes doing bosses before you decide.

@@KyoWantsCute so i installed the game again, logged in, checked what's up with my chars and the game, made my first Cadena played it for two days, got to lvl 40 and deleted the game again. why? it's really unplayable with constant crashes and log outs and i try like everday to log in for at least 6 times and the game just crashes to the desktop or hangs in the servers menu or after inserting the pic the game doesn't log in, rather waits for like 5 to 6 mins to "log in" and crashes to desktop. i simply wasting my time.

Don't be sorry! Just know it couldn't be helped. The game would search for a controller input and if a controller wasn't plugged in, it would restart the search and cause lag.

@@davidmesut3406 I had to play like this for soooooo long. That once that fixed it, it was like I took of all the weights and chains. I could kill so many things more easily now that I didn't have to predict an attack coming, and actually see it.
