Sorry it took so long! But its finally done!
The Demospawn, a little Spawn fan project including the demise of the demoman, and rebirth, in under 5 minutes! Some bits couldve used a bit more polish but i've been working on this one for so long that i just wanted to get it out there, and work on the next project

To think that someone knows about Spawn, and decided to make a TF2 rendering of the series is very admirable. Hey, as soon as I heard of Spawn, I was an instant fan.

Pyro needs more love too there is only about 7 or 8 about the pyro

This is a superb parody of the comic character Spawn .......a black mercenary dying a fiery manner, being transported to hell comes back as a hellspawn after making a deal with the devil, and has glowing green eyes (eye in this case), as well as metal chains. Cool video!

So this is basically Ghostrider Demoman minus the bike. "the Spirit of Drunkenness" if you will
Well, with the limited amount of story i was able to cramp into this, i guess so yeah, it follows blaze's origin a bit, but it mostly follows the Spawn lore, specially the hood, which either loosely resembles, or is based on the Disturbed album cover art designed by Todd Mcfarlane.
Al simmons (spawn) was a merc that was betrayed by other mercs, during his death, sent to hell, recognized by the demon lord malebogia, and tricked into believing he could return to earth normally. Instead spawn was told to rule Malebogia's army so when doomsday arrives, he could lead them against the forces of heaven, ofcourse spawn, like the anti hero genre usually does rebels, and gets both hell and heaven on his doorstep. If you've never heard of spawn, i really recommend checking out the comics, or the animated series. Dont look at the movie until you've finished enough to consider yourself a fan.

Four years later and it's still one of my favorite SFMs out there. Do you think a remastered version could ever happen with this? Maybe add on that extra polish that was left out?

No idea why i cant reply to you mark, but i actually was gonna have custom music for this, but the guy working on it had some issues with his computer and lost most of the work. The tracks don't always fit very well in this i agree, but silence was even worse :P

I don't know if this irrelevant, but did you know that Adult Swim and Valve was originally going to have their own Team Fortress 2 show? Well, I don't know why it got discontinued, but Expiration Date was some sort of 'pilot'/ short TF2 Movie to test the waters.
That was beautiful. You need to bring back that character in future films and maybe give him an epic one liner that sounds like a mixture of a drunk demon. Loved it

I think the Spy's death should've been saved for last, but that's more or less a personal opinion than criticism. Great short, had me hooked the entire time!

It's always a pleasure to see long sfm videos.
Your camera work, animation has indeed improved, but I think next time if you choose to do something "different" ( and by that, I mean that you don't go with the usual TF2 theme ) you should use different music tracks, because the ones you have used, didn't really match with the mood of this video. This could be said about the sound editing part too and although I liked your improvement on the lighting, there were some parts, where I felt it could have been better.
All in all I have to say that subscribing to your channel was a very good idea. :)

You should"ve actually let the Demospawn have the Scottman's Skullcutter for the melee weapon.
Am I the only one who felt bad for the heavy? He got handed a smg thinking it was a sandvich, but realized that it was inedible, so he couldn't experience it's creamy goodness. He then saw his friend, soldier, die a violent death, and got shot from a revolver, and it looked like it was in the stomach, which is a very painful spot to get shot at, and witnessed his other friend, pyro, die another violent death. In a final attempt at trying not only to survive, but also enact revenge on the demonic creature who killed his two best friends, he fires the pseudo-sandvich, but runs out of ammo quickly because of the decreased ammo capacity in the device's stats, and realizes he is done for. The creature then sticks a grenade in the poor heavy's stomach, where he got shot before, and the heavy's stomach exploded, bursting into flames, causing the heavy to them die.

Care to elaborate? :P If it was about the Bolty punisher, then i could see your point, but even that one we brought out almost at the exact same time. But I don't really see many similarities in this and the bolted behemoth, besides the fact that it has Tf2 characters in it, and a giant robot. But maybe i'm missing something? haha
The fact the button to activate the robot and locked it in the truck told me it was somewhat similar.

Now, don't get me wrong, this was good.. but.. It seemed a little rushed and cut short towards the end.
It honestly kind of was, but that was mostly because i was a bit done with the project. I had been working on and off on it for so long since january, and i kind of just wanted to get it out there, so i can move on and work on different project. I was just running out of ideas for it :P The first 2 bits were made after the last bit was done to make it seem less rushed haha

one idea i thought up of is if the not only the Demo, but two other comrades die but are revived and used by different enemies. one by the Devil/Merasmus as the Demospawsn, one by a rival mob boss as a cyborg and one by god as the angel of death.
