Achar Goshat: Simple & Delicious Recipe for Bakra Eid!

    Achar Goshat Recipe!
    Ingredients:
    Meat (mutton or beef) 1 kg
    Yogurt 1.5 cup
    Ginger garlic paste 1.5 tbsp
    National Achar goshat masala 3 tbsp
    Salt 1 tsp or to taste
    Lemon juice 1tsp
    Mustard oil 1 tsp
    Green chilies 5
    Oil 1/2 cup
    Onion 1
    Water 2 cups
    Tomatoes 7-8
    Kashmiri red chilli 1 tsp
    For garnish: (green coriander, ginger)
    Instructions:
    - In a large bowl, combine the meat with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp achar goshat masala & salt.
    - Mix well to ensure the meat is fully coated.
    - Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
    - Take 5-6 green chilies, cut them, and remove the seeds. In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp of achar goshat masala with mustard oil and lemon juice. Stuff this mixture into the green chilies and set aside.
    - Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a large pot over medium heat.
    - Add onion and sauté until golden brown.
    - Add the marinated meat to the pot, stirring well and add 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low-medium.
    - Cover and simmer the meat for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until it is tender and cooked through. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
    - In a separate pan, heat 1/4 cup of oil. Add halved tomatoes, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes. Then, remove their skins, mash them, and let the excess water evaporate. Finally, add this tomato paste into the cooked meat.
    - Add the Kashmiri red chili powder and stir to combine.
    - Add stuffed green chilies, Stir it well and cover for 10 minutes (low flame) to allow the oil to come at the top.
    - Adjust the salt to taste if needed.
    - Garnish with green coriander and ginger slices. Serve hot with naan or roti.
