- You can now actually use the minimap (not the big aeternum map on a second monitor) but the actual minimap with all the filters, nodes, EVERYTHING using this program i found called SKELETON. Its another app developed by the creator of the Aeternum Map, DevLeon. It is questionable as to whether or not it abides by the New World TOS (Terms of service) so use it at your own risk!

I've been using Aeternum Map in my web browser for a long time with no problems. I finally tried it in the skeleton app within the last week and got it working. It's very nice, but for some reason my mouse and keyboard input were lagging every once in awhile. I never experienced that before so I figured it was the skeleton app and disabled it.

Overwolf can cause huge lag
If they banned over-wolf showing resources then I'm pretty sure they gonna try to ban this as well. How enforceable that is 50/50 area since it is probably only an overlay.

Man my mini map isn’t wanting to populate my person or anything else on the map for some reason. The big map is tracking me and it’s connected to the Overwolf app. Am I doing something wrong?
I think the big issue is the maps that show if a node is up or not. That I know for a fact that will get you jackpotted. But the minimap they always were up and down, but in reality, many other games have this. FYI their hud sucks, it is buggy as hell. Been asking them to finish it, give us filters, fix it, and if they did, we wouldn't have the need for this mini map!
This Aeternum maps is so slow to refresh your position, the delay is too long, that I find it useless. I just use the web version to give me clue, thats it.

Couldn't you already do this with the aeturnum map app on overwolf? The only thing changed within the tos is about accuracy of the player marker. As far as I know atleast
Nope, the minimap doesn't show the filters, they are disabled due to the ags ToS. With skeleton, you can use all the filters in the minimap
@@sl3ndermmo so any update on whether it's gonna get anyone banned because it would be nice to have a useful tool like this is rather not use it on the chance it bans
@KD Ocean not yet, they took down the forums which is a HUGE bad move... I'm gonna ask in discord and see what happens, I'll probably update everyone with a video so everyone knows
They will just update the tos to include banning overwolf, problem solved in their eyes. Otherwise, what's the point of limiting overwolf to not allow that to begin with?

So does this break TOS? I just got into the game and don’t wanna get banned. For me I wanna use the mini map on a 2nd display but it still show me my live location. I don’t want the in game mini map. Just don’t wanna get banned lol

I don't see how AGS could say this is against the TOS. This is completely outside of the game. There are monitors out there that allow you to have a separate input to be displayed on the main display in a corner, ie Picture in Picture. Is AGS going to ban you if you have one of these monitors? If so, then AGS can go suck the big one.

they just need to inprove the hud in pvp in my opinion, more defined group markers and a minimap would be cool aswell, sucks when you lose track of your group and you are stuck going to map to get their estimate position and then searching for them in a clump

They changed the way the app developers are allowed to extract our player position. It's not going to be as accurate anymore. But the developer of this app, devLeon did an AMAZING job with the little information amazon is allowing them to use.
O no they gonna ban it.... they already made it very shitty inacurate because of the bots

I believe it does, I'm pretty sure there are some settings that need to be setup in the aeternum map.
