It's kind of funny you mention her getting drunk, because hasn't she just recently kind of been scandalized for being an alcoholic and it running and ruining her life?? It's likely part of the reason she can be so off and sometimes mean and definitely tone deaf and unfiltered 98% of the time she opens her mouth on the show.

I'm not sure when she made fun of someone's plastic surgery during this video. Is pointing out the obvious "making fun" of it? She has admitted her multiple procedures for many years. Two things can be true at the same time. She can have had plastic surgery herself, and then comment that someone else has had it too, without mocking or being hypocritical. Get it?

e have been hosting it in the last few months while Wendy was away, because of some unspecified medical issues that she was having. And just last month it was announced that she wouldn't be coming back permanently. And like someone else said, I also heard something about a conservatorship?
I have both autism and ADHD and even as an unmedicated, undiagnosed, awkward little kid I had more awareness and filter than this woman EVER has.

She's not an A list celebrity, she's the host of a petty talkshow where her husband was a major producer or something, she's not held to ANY standard because she's never been nice or pretended to be. The only standard she was held to was going into work, which she didn't do, so FINALLY the show is cancelled.

She hasn't been on her show for a while and it is finishing at the end of this season because of that. She also has her bank requesting a conservatorship for her that she is fighting in court right now and the bank has frozen all of her assets until it is resolved.
She is super sick and unwell. Her show has been cancelled for awhile now.

P.S. Bariatric surgery is well recommended for people who have gone through psych evaluations and can't lose weight with plain diet and exercising.

@@Roadent1241 I think you mean 'tapeworm'. But, no, bariatric surgery is a weight loss surgery and has nothing to do with worms. Some people will have the size of their stomach reduced (stapled), others have a 'lapband', which is where a band is placed around the top part of the stomach to reduce how much food can go in at once thus allowing the stomach to naturally shrink down. There are other options as well.

Actually, many doctors today will perform bariatric surgery without psychological evaluations. They, like other doctors will do anything for money. They might recommend therapy to get to the root of the problem, but patients either go once or quit once they have the surgery. That is why so many people fail to either lose the weight or keep it off after surgery.

I know-you can just see her grinding her hands together like villains from old movies, and cartoons, twirling their mustaches, maybe jumping up and down. We all see lots of insult-comics and yes, sometimes they go too far BUTTTT it is their shtick, you don't feel like they are like that in real life, most of the time/most of them. I need to rewatch some old Wendy Williams because my mom used to love her when I was younger and I didn't remember anything this problematic, so I'm not sure if she got worse or I got better lol. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was when Kesha was going through all the legal stuff over sexual assault and Wendy first claimed she was making it up and she should lose because 'otherwise all women would just do that', then later was like 'well what do you expect'. Horrifying. I'm surprised that wasn't in the compilation, honestly.
There's a few things WW did that Charlotte didn't cover! I hate Gus Johnson for what he did to Sabrina and his attempt to make a comeback didn't help that, but he and PayMoneyWubby did a video about how awful she is that includes stuff like the Kesha situation. That's true, being a good person is more important than looks! I kind of feel like she got all this work done, thinking it would make others like her more. And she does look beautiful, but maybe the folks that were already in her circle got a little jealous of her new look and that maybe made her jaded. Now she's looking for new friends, but she has the mindset that all women will be catty towards her because of her looks; which puts her in a defensive mood to start with. So even if the woman is not judging her for her looks but her attitude, she's just assuming it's because of her looks. I hope she didn't take Wendy's comments too seriously (like Wendy is one to talk with all the work SHE'S had done) and I hope she's able to find good gal pals and a man that will treat her right!

I use to watch Wendy in the early years. At first, I thought she was a comic doing a parody of a gossipy talk show host. She’d use to say “grab a snack and come on back” while warming up a Slim Jim with a lighter.
The last time I watched was the day she spoke on the murder of Amie Harwick, a well known therapist in LA and ex-fiancé of Drew Carey(Price is Right). Amie’s ex boyfriend (before Drew) had been stalking her for years. He broke into her house one night, attacked her and threw her off a 3rd story balcony.
Wendy says something along the lines of “she gave new meaning to Come on Down” while looking up and slowly down as if watching the fall.

12:26 as someone who has had gastric sleeve surgery, I can say it isn't cheating, it also isn't the easy way it is the hard way but some people don't have any other choice than the surgery because of other issues. Just diet and exercise is the easy way, if I was able to exercise how I need to I would have done that instead of the surgery. You have to take vitamins for the rest of your life or you will start to become malnourished, if you don't have a certain amount of protein everyday ( and with prices going up now that isn't easy ) you can start to lose your hair. My surgery I almost died during it because of internal bleeding and needed 2 blood transfusions. Anyone who says the surgery is easy has no idea what they are talking about.
I thought that was ridiculous. It's major surgery that can have complications. Hope you are doing well now.
@@missmissy_90 oh I was nowhere near that weight, the highest I got was 350 lbs, I'm Canadian, my surgery was paid for by taxes so I didn't have to wait for money to do surgery.

I can and do go all day without eating but come around midnight it's ON.
But not food.
Junk. Chocolate, cookies, cake, ice cream and I can't/ won't stop.
I have panic attacks and hate leaving the house.
So I buy all the crap to last a few weeks but it doesn't last a week.
Oh boy does my husband get mad.
He can eat one candy bar or two cookies.
@@missmissy_90 I am the same way.😑. I used to do intermediate fasting and did pretty good at maintaining my weight. I could do fine all day at work but at home in the evening is when I struggled. Needed to stop eating by 7pm and could but around 10- 11 I had sweet tooth/chocolate cravings😋. And my husband is like yours, doesn't need/want sweet stuff alot. I feel like I have to sneak to buy a candy bar or pastry because if he is with me and sees me pick it up, he says something and I put it back. But then the next time i go to the store w/o him, I buy a secret stash.

The third clip..is what made people lose it with her. To use that young man's death like that.. the most pathetic thing I've ever seen on a daytime show. Sad she has health problems that have hindered her, but that had nothing to do with illness. She knew exactly what she was doing. She even inferred the young man was in a gang; guess what??!! He wasn't. Since I don't watch her her show, I saw the clip on another YT channel and I was completely appalled.
Ever since she made fun of Joaquin Phoenix (I apologize if I misspelled either part of his name) for the scar on his lip, I lost any respect I had for her. I mean I already had very little, but now the rest is entirely gone. What is the basis of her appeal? Does anyone actually know?

I personally know the woman who had weight loss surgery and I can tell that was no cheat code for her and I also know she has worked her ass off to keep up her results. I was so annoyed with Wendy because her question had nothing to do with her weight

Even if you have a flat stomach, they can be unflattering to many people, especially when you are sitting. And while I do have a flat stomach, over 50! I would get a normal one, and would even alternate it with my fave t-shirt/"uniform" "No excuse for animal abuse" t-shirt with the one-eyed Pit Bull (bait dog we rescued but eye was too far gone to save).
But the top is cropped at the belly so it wouldn’t need to fit, just hang out and enjoy the breeze.

It reminds me of wearing Capris versus just regular linen trousers, shorts if it is hot, etc., if your goal is to look as trim as possible. The latter will shave pounds, the Capris will add them on most peoples' frames.
BTW, If I'm being completely honest, the clip of Wendy talking about the Kardashians "glowing up" was absolutely HILARIOUS & very true 🤣

I actually have a story about Aretha Franklin. When I was a senior in high school the school board rented out part of the convention center for us to have our Prom in. Ms. Aretha Franklin was playing that night at the other half of the center and one of her requests was the air conditioning was not to be used. It was sweltering in the room that we were in because we were a massive graduating class. A lot of my peers were so pissed off because it was our prom night and all of us had planned for months but I had to be the voice of reason and explain that AC + Singers generally is a well known thing and can effect their voices. I still think Aretha Franklin is a classy lady but I know the rest of the graduating class of 2004 from Beavercreek OH might not agree xD
