Ashok Leyland engines always was music to the ears. Especially, I remember traveling thru the old Comet, Viking & Cheetah buses. The new engines don't need double clutching while changing gears. On the decsents the gear changing downwards earlier was bringing down the gear in neutral revving the engine in neutral and then engaging the lower gear. The revving in between was very melodius I just used to love the sound.
There are 3 to 5 broken road places in ghats... we missed to see those... 😅 those are real bad ones... putting ladakh to shame 😂... i travelled for ganesh festival this mth same route from bangalore to goa...🎉
