Buffalo's going to have a more "ensemble" cast at WR. In today's game, I think having a #1 who's head and shoulders above the rest is a feast-or-famine proposition. If your offense can't function without him, you're one injury away from folding your tent, and you're probably setting that guy up for too many hits. If you can spread the ball around, that's a lot harder to defend and a lot more sustainable for up to 21 games.

We've been cash strapped for the last 2 -3 years, Meanwhile Doug Whaley also had a MEAN DEFENSE, paid a 100 million to Mario Williams who put up 52 sacks in four Seasons. His only problem was a franchise QB which we just missed out on with Cam Newton and had to settle for Marcel Darius who ended up being a beast for us. I think if we had Whaley with Josh Allen we would have won a Superbowl by now because he was willing to spend and bring in ANIMALS. He would have definitely got Josh Allen some of those top tier guys that was available. The books might have suffered but we would have a chip by now!

@Antoine916 definitely disagree, as I recall Diggs was having the best year of his career until we switched cordinaters, and when we went away from Diggs we barely made the playoffs vs prior years when he was the focal point and we won the division with ease. You can't substitute a 4 year 1000 yard receiver for a bunch of number 2s, and yes, Hollins, shorter, Isabella, Claypool etc. Are MEDIOCRE to below average receivers. We don't know what Keon is, Curtis has never sniffed a 1000 yards and Shakur is hit or miss. Kincaid looks decent but nothing like Kelce, so he might just be good. For the theory Josh will get to spread the ball around more. Well, we already seen that play out in the John Brown and Cole Beasley, Dawson Knox era! Final results was, GO GET A NUMBER 1 RECEIVER. We did, and Josh and Diggs been tearing the league up for 4 years. The problem was we spent too much resources on defense and neglected the offense by bringing in cheap, old, coming off of injury, mediocre wideouts! Can't win that way. We're not the Cheifs, when they won, they had Pat, Hill and Kelce. When they moved on from Hill they already had there winning system and it's been plug n play since, butttt they WON FIRST before making changes!
"we're not the chiefs" correct, however thr chiefs moved on tyreek and still won... System sure, its QB play and we have that, it's all been about consistency and execution. Bills don't need #1. They already have that in Josh.
@theBuffaloFanatics First off, the Chiefs won a SUPERBOWL with Tyreek FIRST and then moved on from him after the winning system was in place, also, they had the BEST QB and TE in the game. Who does that remind you of? ummm, BRADY&GRONK! I love Josh, but he ain't the best QB right now, and Kincaid definitely ain't close to being the best, so we are not about to compare the affects of losing Tyreek to losing Diggs!
