Hi, thanks again for the video. I created a few VMs on an external USB drive (2TB), I unplugged it and when I plugged it back a month later, Hyper-V does not show any VMs on that drive. Any ideas on how to fix it? Shouldnt those VMs show up on any PC running Hyper-V? Thanks!

hi. do you see any files on that drive? is your hyper v manager looking at the correct drive ?

@@robjorgit Thanks for the reply. I do see files in that drive if I go there directly, but when I try to open them, it doesnt work (cant select HyperV to open) and also I cannot import VM (HyperV does not see any files to import).

you can setup a new VM based on the vhdx files you have. i think i migth do a video on that next week.

Thanks for the video. After going through the steps, I get Access Denied, no permission to access ISO, any ideas?

Hi,. If you remove the windows-10 ISO from your DVD tray in your Hyper-V VM it works. just set it to none. dont forget to like and subscribe.
