When you said what’s poppin’ in the beginning of the video I started singing the song. 😂
Sounds about right to me 🙌🏾
Hi Jordan, I really enjoyed watching the workout. I really like how you got stronger and faster as the workout progressed. You really looked like you were flying on the 200 meters. I am reminded of all the great times I had doing workouts on the track with my coaches (even though our default distance workout was the mile-repeats, and occasionally the 3-lappers). We usually ran the longer repeats because we were training for the marathon event. Keep bringing it. The video is some needed inspiration, for sure.
Also, I am wearing the Brooks Ghost 13 as one of my 2 pairs of daily trainers. I would love to kick on the Brooks Hyperion and do some speed workouts. Maybe, Santa Claus might hear my wish and make something happen for Christmas. Ha, Ha, Ha!
Glad to be a help and thanks for checking in!
Nice video, what motivates me to run is seeing others who are faster than me go at it!
Glad to help motivate you to get out there.
Well done Jordon!!! Speedy for sure! I love the 800's :). New Subscriber from Canada
Thanks for watching and subscribing! 💪🏾
Just incorporated these into my training plan. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
I missed the tracks. The one near me had been closed since March 2020 due to the damn virus. I couldn't do proper intervals on the road near me due to undulating routes. Finally, decided to do it on the treadmill, not too bad actually though need to pre-determined the speeds proper in advance. Just broke 20 min for the 5K, 19:42mins few weeks back. Tq for the video!
Great work on breaking 20mins. Intervals on the road are tough especially if it’s kind of hilly. One trick For interval running on the road is to base it on time/ effort so maybe instead of 10 x 400m @ 90s I do 10 x 90s @ what feels like 5K pace. Let me know if that’s helpful 👍🏽
Very nice workout man im.runner too your pace in 200s was excellent....I like stadium also and USA I wish in near future come to this country....greetings from Greece!!!
Appreciate it!
Oh, yes. I’m listening. Looks like a shoe that I definitely need to try. Great video Jordan 👍🏼
Thanks man! Full review is already available once you're ready.
Got stronger w/each rep! Way to train bro 💪🏾
Yezzir! It’s the most reliable way to train for me especially coming off a break 💪🏾
Sweet vid man thanks. Im going to go .25 miles then 30 second rest then .25 miles then 30 second rest. Thanks for the vid again
Nice! Hope it goes well for you 💪🏾
Intervals training is like punching yourself in the gut over and over again, but it's the only training to increase speed
You So lucky💪🏿 you dont live where it snow 😤
Im appreciative. I lived on the East Coast most of my life, so not having snow is still knew to me
Great video! How much rest you have in between each rep?
Just did my first 8x400 95-100s with 2min rest in between. 5k is is about 25min.
How do you improve that time and try to get to 20min 5k and under?
I have a full playlist here for how to run a faster 5K in 2022: ua-cam.com/play/PLENhRVy6hBznxX1kK5zXqLVhepi_TCy0k.html
i was just doing these starting off at 1:14 and cutting down to 1:08 on my last rep
nice work
How did you reach at 10 reps ..im Now at 3 reps.. Can i increase 1 reps each week.. I do two times interval in a week
I start with more reps, but done slowly. And then Im able to reduce the reps to my intended pace.
