2:30, how about no! You can't treat a 1099 independent contractor like a regular employee. You can try, as some will comply, but you are just begging to get sued when you do that.
*You work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $5K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires*
You're not gonna build much of a "company culture" by hiring 1099 freelance contractors... Just tell them what they need to do, be nice, respect them and they will in turn-respect you
Make sure you do your research before implementing Ramsey's advice. At least in the state of Georgia where I am if someone is a 1099 they are not an employee they are an independent contractor. Requiring them to be at meetings is considered excessive control and is illegal.
None of these people work together. One hundred employees over seven different locations. You can get them together for a meeting once a month but that isn’t going to build a company culture. They’ll always be strangers to each other. I’m not against the monthly meeting because it’s good to put a face to a name within the organization, but to think this will build a company culture is silly (I almost want to say ‘stupid’).
"Company Culture" is pretty lame. It's a JOB, nothing more. If showing up is required, sure I'm going to go. But, I'm running out the door the second I'm not forced to be there.
1:53 is lesson #1 of being a boss. Sometimes the decisions that are best for the company and the employees will make some people unhappy. If you try to be a people pleaser 24/7, you're not going to have a successful team.
Every time I hear Dave speak about his company's CULTure, I cringe. Cooperation and shared vision, values, goals, etc. is important, but at the end of the day, it's not rocket science.
You don't "build" company culture. Company culture is a side effect of how you do things day over day. Don't waste time trying to build it, just do what is best in all areas.

This is what Esther A Berg does, she has changed my life. After raising up to 60k trading with her
I know Esther A Berg, and I have also had success...
Absolutely! I have heard stories of people who started with little or no knowledge but managed to emerge victorious thanks to Esther A Berg
I will leave your information below this comment.

Yeah, it's better to incentivize the top earners to show up and let that lead the rest of the pack.
You make a good point. I think it's called a misclassification report.
I love Ramsey but, he's wrong to say That it's just a classification.
Agreed. Also, the IRS three-factor test comes into play for similar reasons.
Key part don't waste workers time. Say what needs to be said, no stupid team building or culture junk.

Totally right, same in every company I worked for. Meetings and others time need to be respected.
1099 is just a technicality.
No, its not.

Is the company making money or not? I’m going to my doctor appointment and will catch the recording.
Once the organization is getting fat, there have to be some top-down bottom-up stuff.
Day 3 of requesting the Every Dollar app to be available in the Philippines 🙏

Agree. Leaders that mention “company culture” all the time are probably trying to cover something up.
