Being the devil's advocate. That's one of the advantages of exclusive games, almost there's no downgrades. Multi Platform ones, well....... Even the Mighty witcher 3 suffered for it. If there's wasnt because the many mods, I would'nt have been able to play that game on my PC the graphics it deserves.

I remember watching this one over and over again and marvelling at it. I couldn't wait for the release. And what we got then was even better, more polished, more versatile, and so full of high-concept sci-fi storytelling. And now, with the sequel out, Guerilla refined it even more. I'm in love with this franchise, its world-building and its gameplay. Truly awe-inspiring.

There is literally no reason for an xbox one anymore. Every xbox "exclusive" will be also on PC with 10 times better visuals. I am so happy that I have a PS4 just to experience epic games like this one. Cant wait.
I worked at Best Buy for a bit during undergrad, and I always thought it was funny that Microsoft made more profit when a Sony computer running Windows (I believe it was 8.1 at the time) was sold as opposed to the Xbone.
Sony has the better exclusives, but with the Scorpio, Microsoft may have the better console if rumours are to be believed

I bought an Xbox One for exclusives and you're right, there is literally no reason to do that anymore as I also have a high end PC and a PS4.
I beta tested this game last month for sony as part of a market research project. All i can say is UNBELIEVABLE. Cant wait to get it

Looks like it plays a lot like Witcher 3, and that's a very, very good thing.
I mean the mechanics of the controls, not so much how responsive they are. This does look much more smooth and responsive. P.S. in an update to Witcher 3 they added an "Alternate" movement setting which improved things a lot.

The people who's had a hands-on play of the demo stated the gameplay is much more fluid than TW3 and responsive.

hm, well with fluid you could say that everything is balanced in a way you allways have the time to change your fighting style or dodge and retreat. In Witcher you need to think before you start the fighting. I mean, this looks more spectacular, but it also looks alot easier. Responsiveness in Witcher is not really a problem, it's the way the game plays. If you just start hacking your sword into the enemies, you will stagger upon them alot and sowise make it feel like its unresponsive, yet in fact its part of the gameplay.

One of the best games PlayStation has ever had.
I dont know how people can get excited for Zelda after seeing this gameplay. The combat looks better, the world looks far more interesting, the graphics are literally 10 years ahead, the voice acting is better lore is more interesting, the traversal is more fluid. I'm saying all this as a Zelda fan...i don't get how people are calling Zelda game of the show after seeing this
Because they are two different experiences, and also I don't have to hear Link constantly yap about obvious things. Also, some people prefer the artstyle in Zelda as it shows a more poetic side of gaming than what this game offers.
I don't see how simplified graphics makes it any more poetic, it just makes it look old, and i say this as a professional graphics designer. I can create a better looking link model in the unreal engine right now and i'm just one person, not a huge team like Nintendo. Also, graphics and design are 2 different things. I dont mind Zeldas design style but it's just not technically good. Look at Gravity Rush 2 on PS4. The design is also simple and stylized but on a technical level it looks light years ahead of Zelda. I really hope the NX version of Zelda looks more current than the Wii U version
It's simple, Zelda is an established series that people love and it's gonna be a game like this. You can't blame people for being excited. I've never played Zelda so I don't really care about it but I can not wait for this.
Honestly, I'd rather play Zelda. A Bow as your only weapon? Just Robot Enemies? And I feel like Hyrule would be more interesting to explore. Just because After 30 years we finally get to see the entire continent in one peace in 3D and HD. And oddly enough I like the Art Direction in Breath Of The Wild more. Although the designs looks REALLY Cool in this. I'm getting Zelda day 1. But after Zelda if I have a chance, I'd get this because it really does look Interesting.

schifferu Monhun doesn't have combat anything like this. It's clearly very different. But it looks to play a lot like dragon's dogma.
The ONLY thing I'm missing from this trailer is the Tallnecks walking a seemingly free path, or perhaps having much larger walking circles. It just looks really nice having multiple Tallnecks in frame, striding through water.

I think the ps4 wasnt powerfull enough to have to many hughe machines at the same time that s why. Let's pray for that in the burning shore.
@@yuribaka4809 It doesn't make narrative sense to have more than one Tallnecks in one area. They are designed to continually monitor the surroundings of a location so it wouldn't make much sense to have more than one prescribed for one place. PS5 can definitely handle two or more in one place but it would be narratively inconsistent.

I love everything I'm seeing, but they really need to step up the voice acting.
Her response to the fleeing bloke was really awful. It sounded like a child wrote it.
Guerilla games has never had a good track record for voice acting/acting in general.
Well if they don't do what they've done in the demo and keep voice acting to a minimum I'm sure it will be fine.
I'm also confused about why Aloy's face is so rounded/a bit chubby. I know genetics is a factor, but when you're athletic enough to outmaneuver machines that just doesn't seem like a viable excuse.
How is this "keeping voice acting to a minimum" ??? She talking to herself every 5 seconds, explaining to the player exactly what to do. I hate it when games do that! That kind of laziness has been left behind like two gaming generations ago. Apart from that, this does look very cool though. EDIT! - I misread your comment. You are right. haha
I love this game! But the gameplay in this video was so much different. Glad they changed it the way they did. Looks amazing and possibly one of the best game I've played in my life.

The User Interface, her voice and sound effects, the quality of the graphics is much better now than this trailer and the map is much nicer. Really love this game and there's Horizon 2 that's in development now for the PS5.

Have fun waiting till juke while I replay the game for the third time. Had a blast playing it, hopefully the pc version won't be half assed and a technical disaster like most releases :Detroit, red dead...

Many PS4 exclusives eventually become available for PC though. Look at Final Fantasy XV and Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, for example.

i hope not, because its made by the people who made killzone, so the graphics should be top notch. I also was worried that the gamepkay would be very repetetive, just finding weak spots constantly, but from what it looks like the enemies are varied enough

It's guerilla games so no. Only killzone 2 was a downgrade but that wasn't guerilla's fault it was sony's misleading advertisment that demonstrated a cg trailer and called it in game enging running in real time on the ps3.
I love when pre-release gameplay matches with the retail copy.
Those details in the graphics are amazing I can see every blade of grass, every pine needle every bug randomly flying around, it's like an actual world, to think we went from Pong to something like this. This would be so amazing as a VR game! 😁👍

I really like the camera angles in this game. Makes you feel you can experience the surroundings with such details. I love the assassins creed franchise and wish they could blend game style like this a bit.

March 31st 2017. Just got my platinum for this game. came back to this trailer just to say this is the best game I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing in my entire life
I hope there would be a way to disable the voice over. I can only imagine how annoying it would be hearing the same or similar dialogue over and over again.

the real game has no voice over. the game has no tutorials and no hand holding whatsoever. the voice over is added in post just for the demo.
Annie Nyan pretty sure the voice over is just for this video to explain stuff to do like crafting, better her to say then some commentator, i really doubt it will be in final game ive seen this technigue used on other games before they are released

Only thing they have in common is that they are open world games. Zelda is rooted in fantasy with magic. Horizon is strictly sci fi with advanced technology.
I wouldn't be surprised if the battle system is closer to Zelda than Elder Scrolls.
The world itself reminded me of the Xenoblade games.
If this ends up being as good as it looks, I might eventually get a PS4 for this game.
