- Here's a quick mixtest using my new Peavey 5150 Block Letter (1992) into the Getgood Drums Cali IR plugin.
Full signal chain:
- Chapman ML1 Bea (Seymour Duncan Custom)
- Maxon OD808
- Peavey 5150
- Suhr Reactive Load
- GGD Cali
Bass: Submission Audio Djinnbass

Absolutely crazy studio quality, I almost like it better than the actual tones. It's mindblowing what can be achieved these days with skill at home, congrats!
The "Gothenburg sound" mean machine Peavey 5150!!! (DT, In Flames, At the Gates etc). This is better than the original recording, like most of your material. Absolutely mindblowing! You sir Roc(k) :D
Sounds sick! One of my favorite KSE songs. Can't go wrong with a Maxon OD808 into a 5150. That combo or the Xotic BB Preamp into a bias modded 5150 is still one of my favorite all time tones.

@@NicoDa1 Mixing/production definitely plays a big part in how things sound here no doubt, but I have to say the 5150 (real or modeled in the AxeFX) has got a particular low-mid growl/saturation which tends to work wonders for stuff like this even with minimal processing, you can definitely feel it even when playing with the amp in the room, especially if you boost it with an OD!

Thanks dude! It's actually one of the stock presets (Misha's Defined Thickness), there's some post processing done after it but the plugin gets you 90% there!

Sono stato un lungo periodo in ospedale..van halen é il mio chiodo fisso … perché non fai altri video come quello su im the one mi dispiace molto che non c’è ne sono altri simili… É il miglior risultato ottenuto su UA-cam L’originale mi sembra più brillante e spaziale merito probabilmente del sunset chamber e del d120f della Jbl ma giusto una piccolissima sfumatura che non usi mi sembra spero che esaudirai la mia richiesta un saluto
