Lukas might be down to earth and all but he's a shoddy businessman that doesn't deliver and doesn't stay in contact with his customers. That C63 in the workshop has been there weeks, it belongs to a friend of mine. Lukas doesn't even bother keeping in contact and hasn't fixed the issues that Renntech/he created in that car!

Has anyone noticed that the videos that people create with time markers are usually the videos you don't end up skipping around in? It almost feels like the people who don't put them in their videos don't do it because they don't trust their content to be good from start to finish. Basically, I'm saying, your content is great Misha.

Friend's dad was a big Renntech fan back in the early to mid 90s, and had a Renntech SL600. I've driven and ridden in many fast cars since, but something about the luxurious and smooth way it delivered power, and seemed to defy physics with grip, still impresses me to this day.
Those horsepower numbers are insane?! But those numbers make me even more curious what kind of focus they put in the grip improvement. Especially on these track orientated monsters.
@@Tristan.R.J.M Well, towards the beginning of the video, Misha mentions that Lukas has been able to make high horsepower cars work on the Ring, where others have likely added straight line speed but lost time in the corners I imagine.

This video is awesome! That is so cool to see how the car is built down to even the brake cooling ducts. Mercedes had a keen eye for detail on this car. I can see how Mercedes set the Ring record

Lukas appears to be a calm, passive and knowledgeable AMG vehicle enhancer. I would welcome an opportunity to spend time with him and his team as they progressively enhance and test drive the performance of an AMG on the Nordschleife. Looking forward to many more vids highlighting how Opus can enhance AMG cars. Well done Lukas.

SideNote: I was parked next to a AMG GT and Caymen GT4 at a local taco joint, when I overheard a couple that just hopped out of a 1ton dully, conversing “wow this place must have really good margaritas” referring to the cars... Now I can officially associate AMG GT’s with “margaritas n’ muffins” ... al’la ... “Merc’s, Margititas, n’ Muffins” ... I should probably TM that IP?! Inspiring content Misha!!!
@7ension Yeah but what's the point of comparing this one with the old ones, this is a GT BS, it looks 10x more aggressive than a regular GT, the same goes for all the other BS models especially the SLS BS, this one was designed/engineered with the purpose of setting a track record and so it did just that.
The more I get to know about the Mercedes GT the more I want a Porsche. Great car but it’s not as pure and not as robust. Also the interior I think does not age well.

Something has to be done to fix the crappy exhaust note on the black series. Additionally, they need to remove that ridiculous piped in sound to the speaker system. I dropped my allocation because of it. I shouldn’t have to fix those kind of issues on a car that costs 350K.
First time seeing so much detail of BS chassis down on the bottom, it's clearly a proper track car now with numerous GT3 Evo inspired racing cooling, I think Merc kinda lost it on GT R Pro missing some of the key track elements like brake cooling which has been a long time achilles heel of GT models. Really excited to see how this beast sounds and performs with a straight pipe and 1000+ WHP.
Lukas can build badass cars and we all knew that, but what about THEM CUPCAKES?!
