Great Advice Video! I'm 56 years old and I never was in debt. I didn't start to buy Louis Vuitton bags till I was in my mid 40's cause my husband and I worked towards our house and other things more important in life. There years before I was able to get buy LV I sported Dooney and Bourke bags and they weren't cheep either but I treated myself and admired LV from a far. I have 7 LV bags and some slg's. I only buy if I really know I will use it and I always have the money to pay it off for sure or my husband would kill me 😂😂😂. I feel very fortunate with what I have and I'm definitely just middle class! Love your videos! 🤗

Yes Marquita!!!! I needed to hear this!!! I'm currently saving to purchase my first LV bag & I want it to be the vintage monogram multicolore speedy 30 in black. I wanted this bag in HS but I was unable to afford it. My goal is to reward myself with this bag once I pass a very important exam in my career, which will hopefully happen next month :). I will take your advice & continue to work hard & save for this :).

Great video! About debt for bags..yes, better to save to get 1st bag. Sell other items on poshmark, mecari, braid hair, uber, other side gigs to get it as Marquita said. It's addicting and new bags come out all year long from all the brands, so the thrist doesn't quite leave 🥴😩 but for bag lovers we all have to have a plan to get, collect, keep, sell bags so it remains fun! I have wallets in the DE and monogram but nothing in alohathe DA so I am going to give it a try and use it with my DA pochette accessories or as a wristlet just like you showed. What a great idea !!! As a previous fan and now a new UA-camr myself, it’s easy to feel the need to keep views up, hence, spend more for content.
However, I decided whatever my previous budget for makeup was, is what I will maintain for my channel. I also, don’t want to get into debt trying to make this side job work.
I do that with my luxury purchases as well! I save money every month, and when I feel inspired I will use it. If not, I keep saving.
I like that you set the tone of living within your means. Social media can really take you for a head trip, and we appreciate honest creators that have your viewers best intention at heart!💗

For “today” someone’s first time LV bag in my opinion is the large pochette (used to be the Speedy lol).
Great attitude and great advice! Having to pass on a bag is hard, especially luxury brands where you feel that if you don’t buy it the first time you see it, next time you look it will be out of stock. I know the one time I stretched myself financially to buy a bag I couldn’t enjoy it and ended up selling it. Lesson learned! Love your videos, just discovered your channel last week.

I just got mine today. The only thing that I was kind of disappointed with is that the interior is coated canvas as well, it feels like plastic. But all in all I love the bag.
