I ❤ it!!! Damier graphite canvas is my favorite LV canvas. I think you should keep it for your son, if you're not into the messenger bag look. But you can definitely make this book feminine by adding some accessories like bag charms or just change out the strap.
Definitely save it!!! If your son likes the small one, he’ll love the larger one when he gets to high school. If you want to wear it in the meantime, I’ve worn my husband’s messenger with my high waisted jeans and a white shirt. Paired with my Chanel sunnies and it was a fit!!!!
I use my Trio Messenger when I'm out doing all day family outings like an amusement park, zoo, picnic etc. Any outdoors activity where it may get wet, get ketchup on it from a wild child running past me, etc. To dress it up or feminize it, I tie twilly scarves through the D ring loop and add a keychain/or charm for a little bling depending on my outfit. It's also a good way to tie colors into your clothing. I think if you keep it for your son that this pack will be a men's classic and 5 yrs from now when he is a teenager he will be able to decide if it's something he is truly into or not. For the men.. they will always love the belts, hats and wallets the best in my experience.

I say save it for your son !!! I personally like the S Lock Messenger it’s a men’s messenger but I love it for me 😂😂🥰 and it has black hardware 🖤
