I’ve been struggling for a year with depression because I lost my mom back in November of 2020 very unexpectedly. (Not Covid related) I’ve been trying to find the ‘perfect’ rendition of Amazing grace to play at her memorial and this, this is it. Your version is perfect and quite frankly, brought me to tears. My mom and i connected deeply through music and I know she would love your version to be played. My plan is to play your song during a paddle out that I’m planning for her right at sunset sometime in either the spring or summer and release a flower wreath in her honor. I can’t ever thank you enough for the way you play because you put so much passion into playing and it’s so easily seen by someone who used to play (and misses playing!). I tried Amazing Grace after practicing it for like two weeks and could only squeak out a few notes LOL it's the vibrato that kills the effect on most songs because I can't figure out how to practice those movements. Switching from drums to that instrument is a massive difference so it's awkward lol
