For someone who has literally watched and listened to thousands of music videos and songs out of emotion and desire to feel music I will be the first to tell you this is a musician playing the song with his heart and nothing else. This is a masterpiece of human emotion put into sound in strings.
The expressions on his face show you what this song means to him. The musical breaks to the pianist shows respect to what this song means to him and also that this song meant something to him before he duetted his emotion into it

There is just something in how you make the violin sound that conveys the painful longing behind this song just as well, if not better than, the lyrics do.
Just over 18 years ago we lost our 2nd daughter to SIDS. She was only 22 days old. There are still days where I find myself missing her terribly. Recently, this song has been something that has helped me process my emotions on those really bad days. I've bookmarked this video for my next bad day, and I thank you for it.
