Thanks for reacting to my favourite band of all time. This song is a bit poppier than their usual stuff. Their main inspirations are the legendary metal bands of the 1980s and early 1990s. As you dive into their catalogue, you'll hear obvious influences of British bands like Iron Maiden (you heard the gallop), Judas Priest, Motörhead and European Power Metal bands like Helloween and Blind Guardian. LOVEBITES also play thrash with obvious influences from bands like (early) Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Testament and Anthrax. They are elite musicians, and their song writing in extremely good. Midori and Miyako are possibly the best guitar duo in the history of heavy metal. At the very least, they are the best since Marty Friedman and Jason Becker from the band Cacophony (from the late 1980s). Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about my favorite band: LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far the band has already released 4 full length studio albums, 4 EPs, a best of compilation and a bunch of live albums, available on CD/DVD/Blu-ray. In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest. They also played their first US shows this year in September. In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“. Their newest release is „LOVEBITES EP II“ with 5 amazing new songs. The band members of LOVEBITES are (including their official nicknames) Asami on vocals (the one and only voice): She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch): She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd Midori on guitars (crazy shredder): Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete Haruna on drums (little big engine): Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers): Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger): We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3

They are labeled as Power metal, but you will hear more of many genres from them - Thrash, speed, power metal and traditional Heavy Metal. They have a fairly wide range of sound style and speed. You can't miss with "Holy War" & "Set the world on fire" from their live concerts. They are bringing back great metal, and you won't find any bad songs.

Congratulations on discovering Lovebites. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist, after their founder and original bassist left the band for personal reasons. You have no idea the box you just opened. They do not have a bad song but this is not close to one of their better songs. Matter of fact, you picked one of the songs that is rarely reacted to. But do one of their many live songs next. So much better live.
I am so glad you checked out Lovebites. However, don't draw too many conclusions about the band from this particular song. This one was made as a fun sing-a-long song for their live shows and isn't exactly their typical sound. Most of their songs are more thrashy.
Yeah LOVEBITES are primarily Power metal and Thrash, with some other subgenres mixed in. A hell of a lot of amazing songs. Next (by which I mean at some point in the future when you can if you want to), other than more LOVEBITES of course, try Broken By The Scream. Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. Their tiny bassist even does death growls! They released their new album “Born Again” on June 28 and it’s a banger. BURRN is calling it a masterpiece. Metal Hammer compares them to Lovebites. Thanks for reacting to my favourite band of all time. This song is a bit poppier than their usual stuff. Their main inspirations are the legendary metal bands of the 1980s and early 1990s. As you dive into their catalogue, you'll hear obvious influences of British bands like Iron Maiden (you heard the gallop), Judas Priest, Motörhead and European Power Metal bands like Helloween and Blind Guardian. LOVEBITES also play thrash with obvious influences from bands like (early) Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Testament and Anthrax.
They are elite musicians, and their song writing in extremely good. Midori and Miyako are possibly the best guitar duo in the history of heavy metal. At the very least, they are the best since Marty Friedman and Jason Becker from the band Cacophony (from the late 1980s).

Here some information about my favorite band:
LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far the band has already released 4 full length studio albums, 4 EPs, a best of compilation and a bunch of live albums, available on CD/DVD/Blu-ray.
In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest.
They also played their first US shows this year in September.
In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“. Their newest release is „LOVEBITES EP II“ with 5 amazing new songs.

Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3

They are labeled as Power metal, but you will hear more of many genres from them - Thrash, speed, power metal and traditional Heavy Metal. They have a fairly wide range of sound style and speed.

They are bringing back great metal, and you won't find any bad songs.

Congratulations on discovering Lovebites. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist, after their founder and original bassist left the band for personal reasons.
They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later.

They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. Sometimes they use typical Japanese melodic lines which are included in ENKAs_ melancholy ballads singing by Japanese women. Only their can do it. Obviously they draw a lot from British, German and American metal. All this makes their style unique.

You have no idea the box you just opened. They do not have a bad song but this is not close to one of their better songs. Matter of fact, you picked one of the songs that is rarely reacted to. But do one of their many live songs next. So much better live.
I am so glad you checked out Lovebites. However, don't draw too many conclusions about the band from this particular song. This one was made as a fun sing-a-long song for their live shows and isn't exactly their typical sound. Most of their songs are more thrashy.

Yeah LOVEBITES are primarily Power metal and Thrash, with some other subgenres mixed in. A hell of a lot of amazing songs.
Next (by which I mean at some point in the future when you can if you want to), other than more LOVEBITES of course, try Broken By The Scream. It will be more Japanese women of course, more metal, but not like LOVEBITES, Band Maid, Hagane, Dexcore. Quite a different experience.

Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. Their tiny bassist even does death growls!
They released their new album “Born Again” on June 28 and it’s a banger. BURRN is calling it a masterpiece. Metal Hammer compares them to Lovebites. They have posted two video singles from the album:
