As a former 3rd trumpet Bluecoat (04-05) i appreciate you posting this! I love hearing the lower parts that are more difficult to hear when listening to the entire corps. Congrats on the year!
Lazybones I agree 10000000%. Playing 3rd Trumpet with The Academy in 08 was more fun than I ever had playing Lead Trumpet throughout high school. As much as I love putting a headcam on a Lead and listening to them squeak out notes in the stratosphere, highlighting the lower parts presents a better picture of A) the level of musicianship required to make and be successful in a World Class Corps (let alone a Top 8 group), and B) the fact that Drum Corps is so much more than trumpet screaming, mello rips, and contra pedals (all of which are epically awesome, but still).

Blue Devils was an overall cleaner show imo Bluecoats were hella close for good reason tho it was good ass show but The Devils still deserved the gold imo
