It might be worth checking out world best mouthpiece for trumpet by Blaise on youtube. It was made by lynn, and with it, it looks like you can play up to Maynard Ferguson's level with the right practice that blaise tells you. I may have to get me one, hearing alot of good things about. As a trumpet player and composer, I need to step my game up as well.
Is there a requirement that your horn be silver? I just noticed that there are none of the standard brass colored trumpets, it's all silver. Not that I'm complaining, I love the look of silver horns.
There's some shows that use piano but not all. And if there was it would get blasted away. That's why there's no woodwinds because they'd get blasted all the time.

HOW DO YOU PLAY NOTES THAT HIGH!?!? I play trumpet and the highest I can get to is the C above the staff, and that is only after warming up a bunch.
Depends on how much experience you have with your instrument and how much you have practiced the notes aswell.
This is why sax is best on the first day I could play the highest know aka octave key

They are given system blue instruments so they all look the same
It's pretty much always been like that all through dci, open, and dci, it just looks nicer than lacquered brass.
