At the end of the day its a game, and to each their own pace. My comfort spot with Helldivers at the moment is between 5 and 6. I only just unlocked 7, can't wait to try it out. But there are some days I feel like just doing my own thing and will play solo at 4 like its a metal gear solid game. For people that complain about not seeing more hulks and tanks on higher difficulty. From what I've seen the less you mess with the bots, the less you see tanks and hulks. The more you hold your ground against them, the more heavies they seem to send to you in bot drops. You wont get hit by 3 Hulks in one go if you keep moving.
This. Totally agree. I feel like you have an understanding of how the games work. Some other players shoot at everything they see which is why they have so many drops in game.
Whatever you do, there will always be haters. Don't bother with trying to please everybody. As long as the haters don't outnumber the rest, you're doing allright.
I'm at high level and have a lot of stuff unlocked, I can definitely solo helldive, but its just too stressfull to do it all the time, so ofcourse I'd play at lower difficulties and chill solo.
Recently it was confirmed that liberation % is no longer tied to the difficulty level, but to the amount of XP earned. So fully completing a map on Helldive will give more XP than doing the same on, say, Hard. That being said, it's almost impossible for a solo diver to pull off a full map clear on Helldive. Therefore, it's far more useful for him to fully clear a map on a lower difficulty than just rushing the main objectives in a higher one and extracting. In the end people should just stick to what difficulty they prefer. As long as the operation is completed, the liberation % is counted.

If you full clear helldive the drops get way worse. Killing fabricators and the static location troops causes the patrols/drops to go crazy. I'm assuming it is the limitation of AI being allowed on the map at once. Optimal strat if you don't care about star rating is to keep fabricators and side objectives untouched.
Have you tried shooting fabricators/bug holes with plasma punisher? Im wondering now if it is like impact grenade launcher, so with some luck could close spawns. Didnt know opened doors of fabricators are also a hole you can throw a nade into, so that's something for me here :D You might have been spotted more times than expected, because apparently enemies see lights, and you have your light on side arm turned on constantly.
As a player who doesn't have a steady helldive group, isn't a top tier gamer and has had their fair share of toxic randoms in groups, I can't even relate to those 'always 9, always pushing, always mayhem' clips/vids. To each their own preference, but content shouldn't be forced into this monolithic mould.
You gotta ignore the haters man, especially when the thing they are hating on has already been proven false repeatedly. It doesn’t help to address them directly in a video unfortunately. Not a single decent person watching your videos doubts you!
