That green storage box has my heart ❤❤❤ I love your ideas so much and you've given me so much confidence to try new things and enjoy what I'm doing instead of stressing over little issues... Thank you from the bottom of my ❤️!
As always a work of art. You can make anything look great! Your hair, I wish I had a tenth of that beautiful mane. It's perfect. God Bless. Hugs. Rebekah.......................HI Chris!
Awesome Flips! U are Sooo Talented and I Love to see what you do! YES!....Stamps scare me!! And Stencils also. I once made a sign out of a board from my outside whiskey barrel that had rotted....I added a stenciled word to it and held my breath EVERY TiME i lifted up the stencil!! If came out fine but it was stressful lol!!
Great picks on your colors! Love the old metal storage containers ❤❤- I get so excited when I get a notification that you have a video out!! You are so talented and inspiring
The tin boxes turned out GREAT! I would love to have one in my kitchen. I will be on the hunt for one so I can copy your idea! Yes I got that stamp set from Vonda hopefully be delivered tomorrow. TFS Yvonne
Both tins are so pretty! You're very talented, Miss Yvonne, and you have such a good eye for these things. I usually have trouble getting tin lids to come off. Do you ever treat them with something to get them to open more easily? Thank you and God bless!
I wondered if the lid was or wasn't painted shut on the green storage container since it was left on when you painted it. How can it not be? Did you coat the inside edge?
No it’s not painted on.. leaving the lid on gives it a crisp line. That way when your opening and closing it the two metals rubbing do not cause the paint to come off. That’s why it’s important to do thin coats.
I also use dish washer to clean my pieces ! But if I have a smelly wooden piece watered down vinegar it is ! I give it a good clean with a lot of vinegar water and let it dry in the sun, the smell is gone after drying ...
Love these projects! I order my stamp set(s) the day the were released. Heard from Jamie Ray that the set you used in this vidro is sold out already. IOD has ordered more!
After watching your projects I want to start mine but Michigan weather is not cooperative. I do not have a heated shop, just a big pole barn full of adventures to come!!!!!
Two great projects that had some wonderful crackling. I’m just wondering , you using the shellac on them keep them from flaky off n gave them a beautiful crackle finish that I loved. Each color you used on them were so awesome n adding the black wax definitely makes the big difference. Haven’t bought any of the new Spring IOD’s as of yet. Waiting for pay day 😁. Hope they’ll be some left for me. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
Hi Yvonne! I ❤ GCR! Question: I was looking for the weather protector online. They make a bunch of different formulas. Do you use a certain one that is tailored to the piece you are working on?? Or is there an all purpose one that you reach for??
I love the new IOD collection. Many times I just don't have the patience to arrange stamps. I like using a transfer pen or xylene I buy in the paint department and I transfer any laser print. I can customize it to any font and size. They come out perfect every time. As usual, you have beautiful work!
Awesome
Dawn dish soap needs to sponsor you Yvonne. You always say their name. I think you need to reach out to them. ❤❤❤
I wish they would.. lol
@@GingerChickRehab…and shellac and weather defense spray paint
I was just thinking the same thing.
Love it all! 💗
Beautiful work, love the boxes!
I've learned so much from you. I found a metal tray with wood handles I've been wanting to paint. Now I'm going to do it. Thx for the inspiration.

Oh.. it will be worth waiting for. So many times I’ve wanted smaller leather.
Beautiful!! Love that stamp set 🤞🏻 I can still get it. Thank you again for your inspiration.

That new color looks like jadite color!
Love the green bread box!
Another question…can you use the patina spray on top of rust already on a piece of metal.
I’m not sure that reaction would be the same. I do believe there would be some type of reaction
Hi Yvonne! I ❤ GCR!
Question: I was looking for the weather protector online. They make a bunch of different formulas. Do you use a certain one that is tailored to the piece you are working on?? Or is there an all purpose one that you reach for??
What could you use beside shellac?
You can try just the spray paint.. but I have the best luck with shellac.
Can you use the liquid (can't remember what it's called) that Chris uses to clean up rusty tools with to clean your crusty metal containers?
Question…can you use other colors of ink from different brands?
I always use Staz-On ink. It’s a permanent ink also, it’s alcohol based
Most definitely you can use what you have
