    You've always been inspirational. I admire your grit, your perspective on goal setting and the tenacity you've always exuded. As I've always told you, you are going to continue to make yourself and your family proud. It is not perfection that is required, but the power to take life lessons, learn from them and keep your head up. Big Big fan over here, remember me when yuh get BIG! Blessings, Love & Light Kem!

    Hello, thank you for sharing your experience. I would be going for the summer work and travel in a month time.
    I would like to know if housekeepers get tips or what kind of second jobs should I look out for that I could get tips?
    Thank you

    • @KemGem
      @KemGem  2 роки тому

      Yes, housekeepers get tips but guests rarely leave tips. On some occasions where guests leave tips it’s taken by house men who strip the room (remove the sheets and trash) 😩
      Housekeepers have a better chance of making tips when they do stay-overs. That means, clean rooms for guests who are ‘in-house’. So guests may tip them for bringing clean towels, tidying the room while they’re still there etc.
      As it relates to second job, I recommend doing something that’s not as physically demanding as housekeeping. For Example: Cashier, Line Cook, Dishwasher etc

    It’s possible to choose a specific state to work in or it’s only based on where job is?
    I wanna guess that jobs are in all 50 states

    • @KemGem
      @KemGem  2 роки тому +1

      There’s the option of self-placement where you can find your own job. However, the agency has to approve. I’m some cases, you are presented with a list of jobs in different states to choose from.
