- 10 Cheapest Places to Live in Florida 2024.
Whether you’re planning to relocate with your family or thinking about where to settle for retirement, many people set their sights on moving to Florida. Florida attracts many people to live and retire with its generally impressive climate, great beaches, fun entertainment and, most importantly, its lower cost of living.
Florida is a massive state, and many people flock to towns like Orlando or Boca Raton when moving there. These cities can be expensive. However, there are plenty of affordable places to live in Florida that offer the safety and amenities of a more expensive location.
To determine where the cheapest places left to live still are, we sourced data from Zillow, Sperling’s Best Places and the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Single-family home value, condo/co-op value and rental home cost were all factors scored, combined and sorted to show the cheapest Florida cities first. Other factors used to create a ranking of the cheapest places to live left in Florida included annual costs for groceries, healthcare, utilities, transportation and miscellaneous expenses for a total monthly cost.

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
@@JasonStathamOffical That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
@@BlakeGabriel-23 My advisor is Victoria Carmen Santaella;
You can look her up online
@@JasonStathamOffical The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
I grew up in Miami & it's got everything I need BUT it's unaffordable 😢 a 1-1 goes for $2,000. So we the retired residents can't enjoy what we worked so hard for do to rich wanting to get richer😢
I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.🇺🇸❤

Gainesville is super expensive .. have been checking and can't afford any of it if I want to buy. Property taxes are the highest in the state or close to it
I love Lakeland,Florida but we’re currently being overtaken by Orlando & Tampa high income earners!!!!!….Wall-street equity firms and billionaire investors are also pushing us out of our communities!!!!

It's funny Hallandale is on some people's list as one of the worst places to live in Florida

Melbourne is no where near the Atlantic...it is not even a main island. The video you are showing for Melborne is the Sebastian Inlet 😮

This is BS! The rural area in spring hill and brooksville and Homosassa are wayyyy cheaper
Texas is the place to move too. Fl. Is hot, hurricanes, traffic, cost of living. Why would someone want to move to Florida.
Melborne,Port St lucie. Other towns so hard to drive to the ocean. If you do not love the ocean why live in Florida?
