For anyone saying the first takle shouldnt have been a yellow anyway, neither should Jota's have been when he was sent off in the same game as THAT Luis Diaz 'offside' against spurs, yet he was sent off anyway for a aecond takle that was 100% a yellow.
Nothing lasts forever in sports it’s been a great run but that could never be kept up all season. It’s how they react from this slump that will define their season
To be fair I agree, we have Nottingham forest next and I'm not confident we'll beat them on our current form, it's genuinely a make or break game this Sunday
If sitting top of the league with 1 loss, top of the champions league with zero losses, in all domestic cups with a return leg at Anfield in the swmi of the EFL cup after loosing 1/0 to Spurs is a crisis then I will take that all day long!!.
You can’t judge teams by their league form in cup games. It’s a completely different situation and it’s basically spurs’ champions league so they’re more than likely to step up. I’m an LFC fan and honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they win over the two legs. If we lose to NF, then I’ll be worried.
Came because of the Title but glad you made it clear in the first 30s Agree about the issue in the last 2 games in the final 3rd. Slot will sort it out!
Not always been the case but against United and last night we really missed Szoboszlai. There's been a gap behind the front three that was gaping in both games and it's also why Salah and Diaz have had their two worst games of the season. That pass through the back four isn't there for them to run onto. MacAllister and to a lesser extent Gravenberch have basically kept the midfield afloat.
I don’t understand the sentiment, this has to be coming from non Arsenal fans because I remember we were 8th dire straits and now we competing for the league and back in champs…media got to you.
The other thing hurting us is not substituting salah in the past 2 games he's been terrible he should have started chiesa in the spurs game And were chasing the game but you substitute konate in ,when you have elliot that was questionable from slot
It's two games. one in the league and the first semi of the league cup. Sobozlai will be back soon and with Connor at right back we will sail. Tottenham have to play the second leg at Anfield.
I’d agree, not many wins recently 2 pathetic performances in the last 2 games. This is our blip which every team has. We just have to hope the players and manager sort themselves out and out season doesn’t end now. Still a lot to play for but it’s concerning.
I'm not worried at the moment, but these last two matches are a reminder that the 2nd half of the season is a different animal. Everyone is going to pick up their intensity, and if those guys don't match it, then this race will get close. Arsenal is in a mini crisis, but if you keep them within a single digits range before the Run In, anything can happen
Strange how a United fan has more faith in LFC than so called LFC fans. And Mark is not the only one given how their own clubs are struggling for consustency.
There wasn't a Liverpool in the country that watched that game last night and worried. Its one of those games, where players are going into it knowing there's a second leg, spurs have something to prove, liverpool didn't and maybe spurs wanted this "first leg" more. And that's ok as a Liverpool fan, because we've shown in 98% of our games that we want everyrhing. I think we all know that Liverpool like being under a little bit of pressure, and they will show that in second leg for sure. No one is catching us in the league, we will be favourites for the fa cup no doubt. I hate to say the words and put a hex on it, but we could be seeing the first "quad" this season, even with the last 2 results
It's no coincidence that Liverpool are looking uncertain just as the transfer window opens and the Top players have not signed. Tension in the dressing room I think.
No it’s Not!……😬But if We Lose Against Forest i Would Start to Worrying! Although There’s Room For Error For Liverpool But Not Much For Arsenal And Nottingham Forest!
I know we are still in the positions all other teams want to be at the moment. We have seen it many times before though, we tend to burn out in the 2nd half of the season. Simply because of lack of squad depth?
16 годин тому+3
Callllllmmm down Mark !! Bergil should have been sent OFF just before he scored and i absolutely guarantee you it would be a different game once Spurs went down to 10 men !! Liverpool robbed yet AGAIN v Spurs. !!
Liverpool fan here: Imo you're almost right about us, it's not a crisis but we're not quite right. In the first half of the season we were very patient and then attacked at pace but now we're definitely trying to force things. I don't think it's a greedy thing (apart from Salah 😂), I think it's impatience. We're kinda more Klopp than Slot at the moment.
Feels like a bit of bad vibes at the moment, United game a lot of impatience. Which says to me it’s mental. Contracts, title pressure getting to them, who knows, but it does remind me of the players wanting it so badly for Klopp that they couldn’t find their chill and the whole thing collapsed.
Slot is diplomatic to say that we have title winners who eat pressure for breakfast but the reality is that historically we don’t do well when everyone is saying we’re about to do the quadruple 😂
I am worrying as a Liverpool supporter. We are not playing well last 2 games. No goals scored , 3 goals against and a tired performance with poor passing. It's not right.
I don't doubt that we will drop points, more than likely in the upcoming games you mentioned. The game in hand is also a derby so nothing guaranteed there either. But let's assume Liverpool do have a blip, drop the 6 point advantage and essentially reset the title race, I still see us winning the league as the strongest team. Will new player transfers coming in to Liverpool or other teams in January perhaps play a part that we can't see coming yet? It's possible...!
Liverpools gap at the top of the league has increased since before Christmas. Too of the champions league and only one down to sours with a second leg to come at Anfield . That is hardly a crisis 🤣
As a Manchester United fan, I'd love to see Liverpool slip out of the top spot, but if they do it won't be because of their talent and skill. I think in the position they are in, it's all about mentality from here until May. Focus & confidence. That's the double edged sword for Liverpool.
I fear the drop off was coming… Happens every season. Arnie Slot now has to show his capabilities as a manager as this is what breaks our past seasons. I do not know how we go from playing elite to struggling like this….
Liverpool's biggest issue is the owners never spend when they are on top. £250m net in 5 seasons is pathetic. Newcastle Arsenal and Spurs have spent 200m each more.
I think we need to do some work during the transfer window as much as I hate to say it we could lose all 3 of our top players and we need more depth as it is I think ego has gotten to some of our players heads and it really isn't a good look. As a Liverpool fan i love my team but some of the players need to get their heads out of their arses I love them all but it is starting to become a serious problem and Slot needs to sort it ASAP.
Love that a Man U fan starts his podcast with the idea that us drawing at Old Trafford is a crisis 😂. The Spurs game is fine. 2 legs, no big deal. Quansah went off early and Slot stayed sensible and rested Konate for the PL. We were minutes away from taking a 0-0 back to Anfield, which would have meant 100% confidence of making the final. I would make one point, that Gravenberch looks a bit tired and possibly needs to be rested a bit more. He just looks a bit heavy when it comes to that gliding acceleration away after receiving. He did it a bit but probably could do with a game off at some point.
It could turn into a real crisis if Slot makes the same mistake as Klopp did last season: Not being ruthless in team selections and making strange substitutions.
If we loose away to Forest next week then I will start worrying. All teams have blips here and there, but the really good teams come good again after one or two little blips.
Nope no crisis at all, its just squad experiment in the Cup. Tottenham will get their bums served to them in the reverse fixture at Anfield. That's a guarantee.
Liverpool did drop off in energy and form in the past two matches. If they lose to Forest, then that’s the confirmation of this fact that they’re not performing at the same level that granted the top position.
We're Liverpool, we can always bottle it. Kinda the standard to be fair. Choking is also just that our players are tired and we don't rotate enough to keep the intensity we need to play the top football we want

It feels like we’re going to fatigue out the last month of the season again.
Chelsea champs
@@5ive20wenty dream on
that scares me
Slot needs to put the reserves out in the cups...
I agree. They all look tired already.
The annual Liverpool crumble commences yet again.. We will do nothing in the January window even though we need it. Sick of it
Yes this is a beautiful sighting 🤩
@YousufAhmed-cg3qh No-one cares about your opinion
😂 honestly, fsg have us over every single season. Hate American owners, they take the spirit out of the game.
To be fair I agree, we have Nottingham forest next and I'm not confident we'll beat them on our current form, it's genuinely a make or break game this Sunday
Question is who is the next crisis, and how far away. I reckon 3 more crises by next week
Came because of the Title but glad you made it clear in the first 30s
Agree about the issue in the last 2 games in the final 3rd.
Despite the title of video, pretty good analysis and thoughts Mark.
The only problem is Slot not using his subs and trusting other players enough. That would be his downfall.
It is January 9th. In Mark's world. There have been 9 crisis already.
Arteta needs sacking
Who would you bring in though?
Arteta?
I don’t understand the sentiment, this has to be coming from non Arsenal fans because I remember we were 8th dire straits and now we competing for the league and back in champs…media got to you.
@@SharmVtrust the process please give him a lifetime contract 🙏
I miss football in the 1980s when a team could win a few games and not be title favorites
OR draw/lose a few games and not be in a crisis.
The other thing hurting us is not substituting salah in the past 2 games he's been terrible he should have started chiesa in the spurs game
And were chasing the game but you substitute konate in ,when you have elliot that was questionable from slot
If Chiesa were ANY good he would be started.
Just remember you cant bottle it half way through the season unless you like 20 points clear
It's two games. one in the league and the first semi of the league cup. Sobozlai will be back soon and with Connor at right back we will sail. Tottenham have to play the second leg at Anfield.
I was waiting for this
It's just the league cup. Could not have been a better timing for the inevitable little 'crisis'.
I’d agree, not many wins recently 2 pathetic performances in the last 2 games. This is our blip which every team has. We just have to hope the players and manager sort themselves out and out season doesn’t end now. Still a lot to play for but it’s concerning.
Love a daily dose of Mark Crisisbridge.
As a Supertramp album was called "Crisis ?what crisis?"
I'm a liverpool fan and you're right.... Some of our fanbase are too negative
No we just missed szoboszliai that's all
There wasn't a Liverpool in the country that watched that game last night and worried.
I bet most clubs would I like to be in the same crisis as Liverpool
It's no coincidence that Liverpool are looking uncertain just as the transfer window opens and the Top players have not signed. Tension in the dressing room I think.
It’s not a crisis for god sake it’s only crisis if we do start dropping points on a consistent basis
No it’s Not!……😬But if We Lose Against Forest i Would Start to Worrying! Although There’s Room For Error For Liverpool But Not Much For Arsenal And Nottingham Forest!
Lmfao definitely saw this coming YNWA Marky lol 🤝 hope you get that algorithm!!!!
I know we are still in the positions all other teams want to be at the moment. We have seen it many times before though, we tend to burn out in the 2nd half of the season. Simply because of lack of squad depth?
Callllllmmm down Mark !!
Bergil should have been sent OFF just before he scored and i absolutely guarantee you it would be a different game once Spurs went down to 10 men !!
Liverpool robbed yet AGAIN v Spurs. !!
Bergval
@InstigatorDJ Thank you for the correction
Liverpool fan here:
Imo you're almost right about us, it's not a crisis but we're not quite right.
First defeat in over 4 months and it’s a crisis 😂😂😂
This guy loves the word ‘crisis’
Liverpools gap at the top of the league has increased since before Christmas. Too of the champions league and only one down to sours with a second leg to come at Anfield . That is hardly a crisis 🤣
We lost to spurs because of the shape of the ball 😅
Ange also changed his tactics with a deeper line and didnt invert his fullbacks meaning liverpool had less space to hurt us.
It was people like you who said Liverpool would beat utd 8-0 Mark....
Still 23 points clear of utd 😄😀😆
Liverpool aren't even out yet
Slot has already lost as many games in 2025 as he did the entire 2024. And its only january! Absolutely embarrasing!!!
Drawing against the best team in the world and losing a cup game isn’t really a crisis
lmfao you think United are the best team in the world???? BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Stop it bro. Get some help.

Premier League Team: Loses a game
Mark: CRISIS!!!
Mark is so right about everything again, 100% agree
