Great job! I spend $100.00 on a battery sensor and it did not fix the problem. After watching this I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replaced the fuse and it's fixed. Waisted $100 on battery sensor. Thx for the help.

Acura RDX 2018- replaced dead battery and light remained on “check charging system”. Alternator and battery working so checked all my fuses. Only burnt fuse 10A was for Horn. Replaced it and the error light went away. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you for the informative video! I just wanted to caution that a blown fuse can be an indication of an underlying electrical problem so if you replace it and it happens again, you might have more serious issues.
Mine was corroded. Fuse still intact. Changed out fuse and the message went away. Thanks Fam!
you're a lifesaver, did all these steps on kia telluride and found stupid fuse burnt, changed it and the light went away
Have changed battery, alternator, serpentine belt and battery sensor as well as same fuse you changed. Same check battery sensor is still coming on. The fuse looked fine but changed anyway. 2012 Honda Odyssey…….any other things to look for. Battery and alternator volts all good.

😬 am in the middle of it .. my odyssey says check charging system. Replaced the batt . 2 days later same message came up. Might be the alternator but am gonna check this fuse 1st .. 🤞🏼

I have a 2014 Honda Pilot. The battery light comes on often. Noticed that the times it does come on its when you are slowing down. This has been going on since Feb. First thing I found was when I load tested the battery it showed bad. Replaced battery. No light for a few months. Battery light come on again then completely quit. Tested battery and it was good. Checked alternator and it was bad only little over 11 volts. Replaced alternator and did great for couple weeks now battery light coming back on. Gonna check battery and alternator again. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks!!

As a fixed the problem.
Sometimes check if no bare wire is touching any metal. On mine hooter wire was touching a metal so hooter fuse 10 amp was blowing up.
A weak battery or corrosion on terminals will cause it to pop' the fuse.
I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey has check charging system put in new battery and alternator .... Still saying it ... Were is the battery senor fuse on my 2006 Honda Odyssey ?

new problems surfaced since this video....honda recalling their cars for battery sensor problem that might lead to short circuit! burning fuses means something shorted out something in the circuit...we need to investigate the cause
This seems to happen after we've been already driving, turn the car off, and then try turning it back on. Maybe it short circuits because there's still power 🤔 and when we start the ignition it's over charged?

Hi this is Mushraf Ali shaikh Automotive technician, remember not All time fuse will burn some time maybe diffrent issue like battery managment sensor and wiring issue's but how to confirm wiring issue?? Than you need battery mangement sensor wiring diagram some time battery mangement sensor coupler wire break inside cheak coupler wire properly many cars i found this problem
i'm having the same issue with my TSX 06. i disconnected the Bluetooth adapter and changed the fuse. The message charging system come on when i start the car in the morning. After 15 minutes of driving the car the message goes away. The message keeps comes on every morning. Any idea what to do? Thanks for the help.

I have a 2011 Aura MDX. Sensor light comes on for battery. A new battery has been put in. Alternator is fine, sensor is fine. Light still comes on and at times drains the battery. I can't find anything to fix this. A repair shop told me to contact a dealer for a flash programmed.

On the inside of the fuse cover, there's a map that shows which fuse is for which electrical system in the car! It's really convenient!
Got a recall letter form Honda for my 2015 Accord. Says Sensor mounted on top of battery case may have gaps and could allow road salt to get in and cause a short. They will repl. for free on this recall.
Was the battery voltage changing from 12.5v to 14.1v

Yes, but why did the fuse blow in the first place? Just because you replaced the fuse doesn't mean it's a fix. Something blew that fuse.

I have a Accord 2.4 - 2014 and show up the check charging system, i check the alternator is charging at 14.5v the battery is 12.5v the (7.5) fuse is ok, but im thinking about the sensor in the negative cable.
can you comment about this.

why did the fuse blow
I have a 2008 Acura TL. I received the check charging system light intermittently. We replaced the alternator which shut off the light for a while. Then recently I received the message again but the car was dead. Tried to jump it but was not successful. Hit the starter with a hammer and the car started. Replaced the starter. It has been starting but that light just flashed at me again. Has anyone had this issue?
