Wednesday September 25 2024 at 14.11, 14.13, 14.25 & 14.48. The 12.45 Charing Cross to Hastings (14.35) and the 13.50 Hastings to Charing Cross (15.33) stopping trains. Then the 13.15 Charing Cross to Hastings (14.48) and the 14.31 Hastings to Charing Cross (16.02) trains. Came here 13 years ago • Robertsbridge level cr... when it had halogen lights, striped barrier skirts and white trains. Came again just 4 years ago • Robertsbridge Level Cr... when all those things had changed. Passenger numbers here have dropped from 440 a day before Covid to 310 a day now. As the dreaded sign said at the start, the signal box here is closed and everything is controlled from Ashford. We saw how well that is working at Etchingham LC.
