Hey! I have very good news for you! During an msm live, The handlers confirmed this will CERTAINLY not be the only time we see mimic in the original msm ^u^
(Also the name of the Cherrubble costume is reference to hollow knight)

Mimic on Plant Island, mimicking Furcorn and Entbrat while cawing.
Not only it would make sense since Furcorn's Plant Island track is used quite a few times in the game, but also because it would make a reference to the fact Pentumbra uses both of these monsters sounds in Ethereal Workshop....
