You can nike cities its just kinda hard. Get the cluster nade launcher. Use ballons to go where you want, then use the burst fire on it for the boom boom.
Alt way as long you have tether attached it won't despawn. So put one with nothing first and do whatever you want with it. You can still remove the tethers after just don't hold the button down.

Those were nuclear missiles which look way different. The one in the video was a nuclear warhead.
When the nuke was on the boat it reminded me of one of the newer Godzilla movies where they were trying to keep a nuclear middle safe and they got it on a boat and it exploded at sea

Regal Ravaging Insanity by splodeing it with a crane
The way I found that you could explode it is by glitching it or “fusing” it into something, the easiest way I found to do this was putting the nuke in the water (the water physics on it are bugged and makes it appear to have a very high buoyancy causing it to freeze in place) then spawning something on top of it, the object being spawned need to spawn inside of the nuke or it won’t work, once accomplished it should immediately blow up.

-pick it up with the crane truck
-(needs Danger Rising add-on) use the Stormalong EM Zero to pick it up
The picking up physics basically cause it to explode instantly so be careful
